Quick Tip: To make line-of-site and out-of-range errors less frequent, fly to the top of one of the chimneys nearby and blast them from there.

Line of sight becomes an issue with this. Mount up on your flying mount and land on a roof of a building, so line of sight issues goes away. :)

was much easier to fly up one of the rooftops and take them down, you also 100% cooler when you do that.

Best position to target, avoid LoS problems and "Out of Range" errors is atop one of the 3 short stone columns by the flight master.

Loved this quest, but found it annoying with LOS issues and poor targeting on my part. If you are like me try this macro

/target Dragonmaw Black Drake
/use Shoulder-Mounted Drake-Droppe
/cleartarget

Just stand on a rooftop, spam it, and watch the drakes fall!

If you don't wait to use the macro, it helps to bind the weapon to a hotkey, remove your UI with alt-z, choose your target and fire. Gives the quest a great feel to shoot them down manually but without range errors etc.
