Killed the Kurzen mobs randomly for awhile and nothing happened, then I went back to Rebel Camp and picked up the quests to kill them and it dropped off one of the Medicine men while doing the quest to get Jungle Antidote. In fact, got it on the 7th drop, which is the amount you need. Well, drop is a bit misleading. It just kind of hops into your inventory. If you have room, it's all good and you move on to the next level. If you don't, seems you just fail the quest.

In this early stage of beta, you get an item in your inventory to keep summoning the pet, but it isn't an official pet yet.

Horde gets it as well, through a quest given by Commander Aggro'gosh in Grom'Gol base Camp to destroy 12 lashtail eggs. Little guy hopped in my Warlock's bag when I killed the last egg.

If your inventory is full and you get the message saying you failed it, don't worry! You'll notice a cute little lashtail hatchling following you. Just return to Rebel Camp and you'll notice a yellow ! above the same guy this quests ends at. Talking to him will start the same quest as if your inventory hadn't been full.

Before you get your hopes up-- No, you don't get to keep the pet. It's just there for the 2-part quest. You aren't able to add it to your stable of vanity pets.

If you lose the little guy just click on the egg fragment in your inventory, and he's back!

This quest can only be started if you are on the quest "Bad medicine" - Don't turn it in until you get the lashtail raptor egg fragment

This quest is an auto-accept quest. While doing Bad Medicine, once you obtain your 7th Jungle Remedy you will get the pop-up to start Just Hatched and an Lashtail Raptor Egg Fragment will be added to your inventory.

So, an earlier post stated that during the early beta testing you got to keep the lashtail as a pet. Is this still possible?

Our guild has a few jungle remedies left in the guild bank. I picked seven up using mobile banking and suddenly had this quest. Made me a bit confused.

im on horde and level 23 how do i hatch one?

If your inventory is full and you get the quest for the hatchling, the first thing to do is clear out your bags, then the quest will say failed, but you dont have to abandon the quest, on the last guy you kill get the egg fragment (it will pop into your bag). Just drop 1 potion, and kill the guys untill you get the egg fragment and the potion again.

It just failed the quest twice, once when I picked up the last jungle remedy,a nd the second time when I returned to the camp. What do I do now?

Since I leveled up my hunter in stranglethorn and did the jungle fever quest way back in vanilla, does anybody know if you can still get this quest?

Edit: Just in case anybody else is wondering the same... you can get the bad medicine quest again :P

Bring the Lashtail Hatchling to Corporal Sethman at the Rebel Camp in Northern Stranglethorn.

	Lashtail Raptor Egg Fragment (1)

Description

While looking through this soldier's possessions, you look down to see a newborn raptor hatchling looking back up at you. Was it following this Kurzen militiaman the whole time?

You can see it studying you, learning your features and following your movements.

The lashtail hatchling has formed a bond with you.

Perhaps someone back at the Rebel Camp will know what to do with a raptor hatchling.
