Just run down to the middle of the cave where the temple is, dont be afraid of dyin and agroin the mobs around ^^ thay dont hit you, use the Quest item on the "Bound Torrent" mob\s and you just trololol around and then you are done

Where do you turn this in when done?

Awnser: You get a remote handin pop up, or you can just click the quest in your quest lock and it will come up.

Not working at all (seems another bug). No spell/skill panel is coming up and can't use any extra attack, other then the normal ones. I can see others using water and wave attacks, but I can't do anything. After possessing three Torrents it did work and I got a different UI.

You should see the skills:

Watery Doom
Vortex
Aquatic Shield
Consume Essence (healing)

If you only see your normal panel with some open space (where the character information used to be), you will have the same problem.

When it does work out, keep on spamming the Doom, Vortex and the shield. Heal when needed by "eating" someone.
The quest when finish will go onto the next one "all that rises" and you can do nearly the same stragegy. The Vortex is replaced with an interrupt and as long as you keep that one up (and your shield) it's not hard.

Don't be afraid of being one-shotted, just run straight to the center. Use the item on the Bound Torrent. Get to close to those and they will attack you.
As soon as you click the item, you should be able to control the elemental. A vehicle bar should appear where your hotbar used to be.

Just pick a place and stay there. Go nuts. This is what worked best for me: aquatic shield, concussive splash, aquatic blast x5, repeat. Then again, it's hard to go wrong with this quest. :P Just be sure to keep up the shield at all times and to heal when necessary.

Hunters, be sure to dismiss pet beforehand or set it on passive. If you lose your elemental, your pet will try to avenge you...this is bad.

Warning, the elementals will hit you though (the ones you're about to control). But as soon as you use the runestone, you'll be on it and fine.

lies, lies, lies..

i hvae been killed four times now.. first while running through the crowd. second time cause my armor was so beat up, all they had to do was look at me and i was dead. finally completed, saw the pop up, but it dissappeared before i could click it. so now i see a question mark i cant get to behind the podium. there is some weaken torrent back in a small room behind it. but i cant do anythihng to him. so plan to abandon and re do it.

Tried the quest upwards of 5 times completing the requirements each time but still no turn in has "popped up". There's just a question mark in the middle of the building with nothing near it except the npc you kill for the next quest.
Suggestions?

Working good for me, just finished it, pop up for submiting it and then new one for killing the boss. Don't worry about dying - they won't attack you unless you are in Bound Torrent. Just shield up every 6-7 seconds and spam number 1, didn't even need to heal.

In 4.0.6 they nerfed the Overseer requirement down to only 3 kills, was 10 before.

Pretty much a faceroll.. 85 lock.. put pet on passive as mentioned above. As your toon just walk down one of the paths between the Twilight freaks.. they won't attack. When you get to an Elemental they'll attack but just use the stone and take over. I just mashed 1,2,3 over and over and 4 when ready to refresh, never even moved but they might bounce you around. Same with the boss, mash 1,2,3 and 4 to refresh.. no problemo. Was using plenty of addons and had no problem.

I went through all of my addons to figure out which ones were canceling the auto turn in features of some quests. Cromulent, Quest Tracker, Mapster can cause issues. Disable these and the quest will work just fine. If not, disable them all and trial and error it. That is what I did.

The entire Vashj'ir line starts in Stormwind with Call of Duty.
The immediate pre-requisite to this chain is Full Circle from
Shimmering Expanse.

At any time, kill a Hellscream Seadog to get Claim Korthun's End.

Optional: Enormous Eel Egg should have dropped, which starts

Carbonite can also cause problems with automatic quest turn-ins. Thanks for the heads up about the minion (mine has a tendency to occasionally go insane <.<)

just to let u all know, Capt Taylor respawns at Darkbreak Cove, NOT Promontory Point as the quest helpers wouls have u beleive - i abandoned this one and had to do it over again cos of dodgy question marks where u should hand in quest

Is there a glitch? I run down the center, straight up to a Bound Torrent, use the tool. It zaps him, I see a lightening ball above his head and it fizzles out. That's it. I've tried from all directions, being in battle with it, reloading my UI, abandoning and re-accepting the quest... Nothing. Any thoughts?

I'm going for Loremaster so here I am trying to finally finish this zone. I get this quest and it said I received the Runestone...but when i got to the Bound Torrent there was nothing to be seen in my inventory, nor in my action bars. I abandoned the quest and took it again but this time it didn't even say I received the Runestone. Then I read every line on here, I reset my UI, and I also completely logged out, each time I abandoned the quest too. No go.

Finally I watched one of the videos (by BoxofBeer) and I noted that he had the quest on tracking and THERE I saw the icon for the Runestone! Good thing as the next step was to submit a ticket or report a bug.
