Follow the outer rim anti-clockwise until reaching a circular corridor heading upwards. You will come out in a large circular room with a big circular thing in the middle. To the rear you will find Overseer Idra'kess (80 elite) and two caster naga. Take down the two casters first then focus on Overseer Idra'kess. When he's down to half health, he will spawn a protection sphere that absorbs most of your damage and channels a spell on Nespirah. A circle of of abscesses will spawn around the bubble. Attack the abscesses to weaken the shield, and then finish him off.

I did him with a 81 lock, and a little help from my Infernal. I didn't see any fluid around him either, but take out the two mistresses then get him

Forget those answers...
The only thing you need to do, where you attacked ''the eggs'' quest, there is the entrance to the tunnel. Follow that path leading upstairs.
When you fight the Overseer, you need to kill the two priestess and finish him off.
Its not hard at all.

If you have trouble finding the passage that heads up to the room, look for a thick pink arc with "ruffled" edges - this is the tunnel. The entrance is on the eastern side.

I thought this was one of the most idiot proof quest as it tells you exactly how to find the guy, yet this got the most questions in general chat.

To complete this quest:
1) go to (62,57) inside Nespirah;
2) follow the red, intestine-like path to your north;
3) you will see Idra'kess in the room at the end of the path. If not, just wait a minute;
4) kill the two mistresses then the boss will be vulnerable.

if you pull up your map, the entrance to the ramp is just above the "H" in Nespirah.

If you kill the two mistresses before they get to casting the shield he won't move while you fight him. It'll act like he still has the shield but he'll take damage like he doesn't.

Just did this on my shaman, very easy with heroism, no matter the gear. I thought at first that it was a group quest since he had over 150k HP, but this was not the case.

Once you get the message to the effect of "Nespirah is waking up!" just pull him over the red slime things. They explode and kill him. Very easy.

You do NOT walk counter clockwise. From where you get the quest, walk along the wall clockwise heading in a sorta north direction that becomes southeast. Its kinda close to the other side of that upper level but if you reach the horde quest giver side you gone too far. It a pretty big opening and if you pay attention to the minimap you'll see the curved pathway that stands out from everything else on the minimap.

What everyone has failed to mention is that the entrance isn't really along the wall, but juts out into the area where the naga hang out...it is more of a feature of the cavern than just some hole you slip into. If you look in the area, you'll notice a bit of the the cave that juts out. If you're like me, you'll totally miss it five times because you're going counterclockwise like the quest tells you to. So just circle around there like a moron looking for an entrance with an incline, that's probably where you want to be.

The problem with this, for me, is when I get him down to half health, almost all of my health is gone, and by time he has rolled over 3 exploding fluids, I'm dead. Any suggestions on how to stay alive and kill him... I even tried with my minion helping me.

I did it with an 81 hunter, BM spec, with Arcturis as pet. I lost maybe 10% of health at most. Pet was down to 50%. I only took down one of the priestess'. When the overseer begins channeling, just dps as much as possible. By the time she stops channeling, the red blobs of Nespirah appear on the floor; as mentioned above, just kite her over a few of these and watch her health dwindle down very quickly. I'm in a mix of 232-251 Wrath purples and the remainder in 267 greens from quests.

Found a bug in this quest...I went outside of Nespirah and while I was out there I abandoned the quest. Now I can't get back in, the entrances are sealed up with some kind of goo. Any ideas?

I don't see anyone mentioning before you go into the tunnel, kill one of the fluids. You get a 10% stat buff. After that just kill the 2 adds and its a straight dps race.

I followed what everyone said about killing the mistress first then started to wail on him. He does not seem to attack you until after you kill them. After awhile it says to use the fluid to kill him and I did. (just ran him through where the fluids were.) was a piece of cake with all the suggestions.

yes you need to travel the outter rim to find the opening. did this as an 81 prot pally.

I actually have the same problem, except I haven't abandoned the quest...I just exited Nespirah to work on other quests, and now I can't get back in due to the tunnels being covered with a solid goo.

hes not in the middle, dont be dumb like me i went down in the middle looking for a way up.
you'll see some fish tanks on the 2nd level, and if you see them you will know youre near a hole/cave that leads the way to him.

If you kill the two priests first it is actually really easy! You do not have to get him in to anytging, just slaughter him, he won't do anything to you and will not have a protection shield. The first time i just try to kill him, without killing the two priests first, i died, when i almost got him. Then i raid this and it is really easy.

Just did this on my 81 prot pally. He may have 150k health, but he doesn't seem to hit that hard (or maybe it's because I had retribution aura on). I didn't come close to dying. His heave didn't even make me lose health, just tossed me behind him.

I spent quite a while trying to find the stupid &*!@# to slain.

Tips to find where the boss is:

- STAY on the upper level where the quest is given to you (in other words, don't go down a ramp)
- Run to the opposite wall of quest givers and turn left, keep running along the wall, you will find the cave that slants up where the overseer is and you will rejoice.

To slain the crazy mofo:
Has 150k but is a really easy kill (coming from a lvl 80 hunter), There's some kind of goo that pops out and you use them to kill the boss, simply strike at them and make them run over the overseer and they explode and the ^&*!@ is slain.

Before I gave in and read this forum, I kept going round an' round looking for a hole in the outer wall like the one you come in by. There are several but they all lead down and out.
I got so impatient I got myself killed and had to swim back. Fortunately, as a ghost you can explore for no cost;-) Eventually I found it: a hole so big you could drive a tank up it!
As for the boss, he's a pushover. I started on the nearest 'mistress' and my stupid Felguard decided to take out the boss instead, so I had all three on me at once.
Dunno about any slime, I just used my usual 'DoTs up and whack him with whatever isn't on cooldown.' I expected to be slaughtered but instead he went down in seconds, leaving me at nearly full health. What an anti-climax.
BTW those entrances that look like they're stopped up with goo? They're not. You can just swim through.

Upon getting the quest from Captain Taylor, on the way to the Overseer, I killed a Nespirah Fluid and got a 10% on all stats buff. I then travelled clockwise from the Captain, until I reached a large area with an upward slope, I swung up and left, and took the ramp up in an anti-clockwise direction until I reached the chamber with the Overseer. I killed off the 2 mistresses to remove the shield, and as a level 82 mage just killed the overseer without bothering with luring him over the nespirah fluid. I think that buff made it easier.

Grrr - quest bugged on me. I killed the Overseer (thx to advice from above) but it didn't complete. Thinking I'd perhaps missed something, went back and tried again - and now kiting him over the slime does nothing to him and he keeps beating me up. Being a squishy little mage, this is not fun even at his massively decreased damage )-: Specially cos finding the entrance from the graveyard is a pain in the butt. However, on the bright side I did finally realise you can use your land mount in there which has saved me some angst in the going round in circles thing! Now if I can just figure out how to unbug it I'll be happy

AHA! Make sure you top up on your Nespirah fluid on the way in - you have to have the buff for this quest to work. Mine must have expired just before i killed him the first time.

Lev. 81 Human Cleric ,,, I soloed him at 81
he looks a lot tougher than he is...
But he is not a Push Over...
I had a supply of Baby Spice from the Bag of Cooking Supplies that ya get from the Dalaran Cooking Quest ,,, I used that to make him more manageable,,, Probibly could use anything that Shrinks him a lot ... I had Planned to use one those things that makes me Grow to Giant Size but I forgot...
So any way
Kill the 2 Sorceresses that are in the Chamber ,,, these have to die 1st
then I kept throwing the Baby Spice on him while I kept Blasting him ,,, I kept my Power Word : Shield up and just kept Blasting him and shrinking him,,,, Ya get a message to use the Nespirah Fluid on him so
Kill one of the Red Corpusiles (Red round Blob things) that are filed with Fluid ( the Nespirah Fluid ) but keep blasting him ,,, and I can tell ya better be Buffed with everything ya can get ,,,
Also ,,, before ya start the Fight ya need to kill one of the Red Corpusles Things so ya can get their Juice on ya ( the Nespirah Fluid ) it gives ya +10 to all Stats,,, last for 10 minutes... So kill one of them before ya attack the 2 Enchatresses or Sorceresses ? whatever ...
Once ya attack the 2 Sorceresses or Enchatresses ? Whatever ,,, that starts the Battle

I killed him ignoring the two mistiness and the fluid balls and the kill didn't count for the quest.

When he re-spawned I killed the mistresses first, and then him, and it counted for the quest.

Still ignored the fluid balls.

As a decently geared 82 Shadow Priest, i walked up, cast Shadow Word: Pain once each an then focused on the Overseer. Down in about 30 seconds or less. No need to kite him through some slim.
He didn't shield up on me, must have been too quick for em. No heals needed.

This quest rates as one of the most time wasting, pitiful, horrible quests in this zone. If at all possible skip it. It's just confusing and stupid.

It took me awhile to find it. -_-
So if you're looking at the direction of the quest givers, head left staying on the same level. You'll see a cave/hole/tunnel that looks like it's going up. Walk up there. When you're walking in the tunnel, on the mini map, it looks like you're walking up its spine.

Anyway, when I walked up there I headed left, clock wise. I killed the first mistress right away without disrupting Overseer Idra'kess or the other mistress on the other side of him.

He began talking and was in that orb/sphere. I just started attacking right away from a far. He didn't move or come near me... it was a little too easy. Killed him in about 25-30 seconds.

Lvl 81 Beast Mastery Hunter.

One thing that almost got me stuck was that I was apparently too badass for this quest. I went in, killed everyone, and the quest said it was completed and ready for turn-in. Easy enough, right? Wrong. You HAVE to kill the Overseer with Nespirah's fluid by kiting him over them or you can't turn it in. I didn't even have to drop the quest, though. I just went back and killed him again (the right way this time) and everything proceeded as it should

Description

My men are flagging, <name>. We won't last much longer against these naga, I'm afraid. With the Idra'kess' weapons, and Nespirah's pearls, we should be ready to bust out of here.

Follow the wall to the southeast, and look for a ramp to the upper chamber. I assume their leader is in there, or perhaps the key to Nespirah's awakening. Hopefully both.

If you feel strong enough, head up to the top of the shell and look for some answers.
