Everytime I try to approach the object with the ? over it I get teleported to the entrance of the cave.

I'm assuming this is because Cataclysm hasn't launched yet.

As of Nov. 27, 2010, the 'bug' is still not fixed. I get teleported back to the entrance as soon as I enter the Uldum section of the Antechamber.

There is no 'bug' it's part of the "Cataclysm Wall" that prevents players from entering Cataclysm-tagged zones prior to the expansion.

Why this wall is so close to the entrance...I don't know.

This quest is stopping me complete Tanaris Quests achievement, and I have a feeling it might be stopping a chain opening up to complete the un-goro quests achievement. Atleast I hope so.

Patch notes from today state that this quest can now be completed.

It cannot still be completed - you are still teleported. Alas.

I just finished this one. I swam around from Land's End beach and you come to Uldum. As soon as you reach it you're teleported to the opening of the temple in Tanaris and the artifact is there.

You complete that quest and then you have to defeat the nasty (easy kill on a level 51 Feral Druid). Hand that in and then take a tablet back to the Southmoon Ruins camp where it all began.

Hi all. I was just running around on the water near tanaris and saw a new looking building . When I went to check it out I ended up in Uldum right next to the chest and was able to complete the quest line.

Go back to the area where you fought the Sandstone Guardians. Entrance to the Ruins at map coordinates 37, 78. Enter and go straight to chest.

As of Patch 5.4.2, this quest can be accessed and completed from Tanaris. One does not need to travel to Uldum anymore for any part of this quest. Upon completion, one also gains in addition to money and exp 75 rep for either Horde or Alliance.

This Quest and the next one in the chain is currently bugged as of 7.0.3 and cannot be completed. GM says a known issue and planning to be resolved soon.

If you complete the Uldum zone before Tanaris the quest will phase out when going into the Uldum zone while trying to complete the quest. If you phase out you will have to complete Tanaris zone on a different character that has not completed the Uldum zone.

As of 8.3 this quest is bugged at max level. When you enter building you can see the chest, but when you approach the chest it disappear. After some initial cursing I realized that the inner part of the building is inside Uldum, so I guess we can blame N'Zoth.

So what you need to do is go to Ramkahen and talk to Zidormi and request to be sent to another point in Uldum's history.

I'm trying to do the quest and it keeps porting the treasure chest away due to crossing over to Uldum. What's the secret to having this stop?

Search the Antechamber of Uldum for an intact artifact.

Description

I studied these ruins for years trying to find a way in. We even took a good chunk out of the gate, only to find impenetrable walls beneath. Now the cataclysm may've wrecked everything in there something fierce, but it's done what we couldn't and opened a way in!

I'd like you to have the honor, <lad/lass>. Head on in there and see if anything's been left uncracked. Be careful though... there's no telling what, or who, might be stirring in there.
