Use the spyglass 4 times when you are on top of the tower. It wont count if you skip the cinematic!

Just click the spyglass 4 times right next to Thonk (spyglass is in your bags) and go through each cinematic and your done!

Yes, just sit tight and use the quest item a few times while still up by Thonk. Be patient and enjoy the cinematics or you'll be S.O.L.!

You can just stand in the same place and use the Item. I made the mistake of thinking that I had to look into different directions.

This quest still requires you to find the Flooded Hut but this is no longer needed since Grandmatron Tekla, and her quest Spirits be Praised were removed from the game. Additionally, the dialogue for Watershed Patrol still acts like you have completed Tekla's quest since Thonk asks you how you managed to make her fly:

"How'd you make the old woman fly, by the way?" - Thonk

The Devs really should fix this, or put Tek'la and her quest back in the game.

I have a bug in this mission I play as a warlock orc and whenever I try clicking on the item the cinematic won t play. what do I do ?

Is there a spyglass mounted into the watch-tower?

Is the spyglass in nearby hut?
NO

The spyglass is with YOU, the player, which your dear watch-guard with the deep dreamy eyes has declined to tell you.

Look in your "quest listing" at right side of main screen. If any of your extensions or interface enhancements have blocked this off, you'll probably want to disable for a bit. (Use ESC and an "add-ons" option should appear. Might also need command "/reloadui"

Once you found the SPYGLASS in your quest listing, you can push the tiny button for the spyglass. Make sure your player faces the river to the west, which has flooded.

You need to do this 4 times, to find 4 different features that our astute watch-guard with the dreamy deep eyes has somehow missed. Look harder!

Description

The recent cataclysmic events have done more than wash a few boats onto our shore, <class>. The Southfury River has overflowed, and Durotar's entire western basin is now flooded.

There are still people out there. I've been searching for a while, but haven't been able to find anything. Would you mind using my telescope and taking a look for yourself?
