Stone guardians aggro when they see you looting the supplies. Usually it's only one or two max that see you.

Apparently they're investigating the site. Otherwise they remain neutral.

Tip: if you have a shield-like ability, after you loot a box just run and let them cast Shockwave, they will start attacking each other :x

Two reasons to proactively destroy the guardians: They don't assist if you initiate combat, but you may get more than one from opening a crate; They are neutral so you can use a big opener or easily position yourself for an attack from behind.

There is something you must do before this quest - I believe it's Peculiar Delicasies. That sends you to Mossy Pile where you can now get this quest...hopefully.

Fun quest to do in Flight Form. Every time you loot a crate the guardians will shout abuse and then return to what they were doing. (I.e, wandering aimlessly around.)

Apparently, Stone Guardians made them leave. Also, be sure to bring 10 Bloodpetal Sprouts for Here Lies Dadanga. :)

Something interesting I kind of "accidentally" found out on my hunter:

If you aggro more than one stone guardian while looting a crate, they'll eventually turn on each other. To achieve this, all you have to do is let them wail on you (they really don't hit all that hard at around 54-ish) until one of them casts Shockwave. Once this happens, they'll all start fighting each other until there's only one left, which will then attack you. I somehow managed to aggro four of them in the cave, but I survived thanks to this trick.

Cave entrances is at 43.70, 7.47 However, there are crates around there in the open if you don't want to go in for some reason.

Description

A big part of making money is shamelessness. You have to be willing to profit off of the misfortune of others. It all ends up boiling down to one question: How much do you love money?

When Marshal and his crew abandoned their refuge up to the north, they left behind lots of supplies. This stuff isn't rare, or even particularly valuable, but it's there if you're willing to take it. His camp is up in the cliffs, to the north.

Oh, and be on the lookout for whatever it was that made them leave...
