The objective of this quest is to obtain the Ancient Summoning Ritual item. It's contained within a chest inside of the western-most building at Thunder Axe Fortress.

It is in the west building, NOT the center fortress. Do not spend half an hour trying to figure out how to stop the caster in a way that will complete the quest like I did.

If this quest bugs out for you - as it did for me - and you don't automatically pick it up after killing Kohor? You can head back to Captain Pentigast to pick it up. Better than just killing Kohor over and over, hoping that it fixes it.

Not that I did that, of course. That...that would be silly.

There is no ritual to stop. In the south-western building (the smaller one) there is an open circular area. Facing the entrance you will see three cages with piles of skulls under them. There is a small box that appears under the middle cage. If you could run right through the wall to get out you would run over it. If you're like me there will be other people doing quests and you'll have to wait a few minutes for it to respawn. None of the other comments here gave adequate detail.

As Supremacy said above, you want to go to Captain Pentigast (Alliance) "/way 66, 11" and pick it up if it did not proc automatically from killing Kohor.

For Horde, you'll want to go to Sorrem "/way 44, 29"

Description

With his dying breath, Kohor mentioned the summoning of a demon that could threaten the entire region.

He may have been bluffing, but that's not a chance worth taking.

This cannot wait for the Alliance's invasion of Desolace to take shape. You must scour Thunder Axe Fortress for clues and bring an end to this potential threat.
