All 3 can drop from any rune-smith, so dont wait at a secific building to get one. I have found that they are at about a 33% drop rate though.

to clarify: Golem Blueprint Section 1, Section 2, and Section 3 drop from Iron Rune-Smiths. they don't show up as quest objectives when they enter your inventory -- at least not in QuestHelper. when you have all 3, use one to form the War Golem Blueprint, which does register as a quest objective.

If you're doing this with a buddy, be warned that the individual sections are not shared drops.

since no one cared to tell the cords you want to go to 76, 55. this quest did not say anything about where to go, i am one that doesn't really read quests i come strait to here. lol. just cuz im lazy. I thought i had to go all the way back to Thor Modan. Instead it's at Dun Argol.

The Rune-Smiths are most often found inside the houses, don't waste time trying to avoid the guarding golems to find them outside. Pewpew the golems and go for the larger groups of Smiths inside :)

A decade later and I still forgot you had to combine the pieces to finish. I've been killing Runesmiths for nearly 15 mins before realizing I already had all the pieces and just needed to combine them. /facepalm

The Perfect Plan

Bring the completed War Golem Blueprint to Raegar Breakbrow at Prospector's Point.

Description

The iron dwarves are making no secret of the fact that they're preparing for war. With their giants, golems, and lightning elementals, they'd have a technological advantage against the Westfall Brigade. If they don't find passage north in time, the irons could take them by surprise.

We've got to tie them up here, and I've got just the way to do it. Dun Argol is full of rune-smiths churning out war golems. They carry plans for specific pieces, so you'll need to find and assemble all the parts.
