Upon completion of the Sunwell Portal (a portal from Shattrath City to the Isle of Quel'Danas) during phase 2, this quest becomes available and is a permanent daily quest that can be completed for reputation and reward, and will always be available once it is unlocked.

You can only posess one Darnarian's Scroll of Teleportation at a time. If you already have one (even if it's in the bank) you will be unable to turn in the quest.

Please keep in mind that the Naga will Daze and also cause you to dismount from time to time. If you have more than 3 to 5 Naga on you at one time, you are most likely looking at shear death.

If you are a rogue and have just finished third part (naga shrine) I recommend stealth run back along the coast while pickpocketing naga and murlocs at the area. You can get up to 10g while going back.

If you're a gnome, you may be in for some swimming when you take your reading of the Shrine. To avoid that, ride up to it and after you're done, jump off the west side. So long as you clear the side of the shrine by a few feet, you won't swim and will be able to mount up immediately. If you're on foot when you approach the shrine, head east toward it and you will be able to take your reading from a few feet away without swimming.

Yes, it only saves a few seconds, but what's more important is your dignity.

If you still have the scroll from the other day you can stay at Complete Quest part while youre using the scroll and press the Complete Quest button at the moment you teleport to complete it while teleporting to shattrath :)

for me, this quest is glitched. when i try to take the portal reading, it does the casting time, but it doesn't register when i do it. can anyone help?

Know Your Ley Lines

Astromancer Darnarian in the Sun's Reach Sanctum wants you to use the Astromancer's Crystal at the Bloodcrystal, the Dawning Square portal, and the naga shrine at Greengill Coast.

Description

Freeloaders!

You all want instant gratification - never giving thought to the effort required to create even the simplest of portals.

Perhaps a little education will instill a bit of gratitude for my ceaseless efforts.

Take this crystal. Attune it to the Bloodcrystal to the west, at the Dawning Square portal just south of here, and at the naga shrine at Greengill Coast to the southeast.

Perhaps then you'll appreciate your precious translocations....
