now we can see ppl who get boosted yay
I don't really care about the column but the community at large will probably hyperfocus on it.Much like MDI team comps the community is bound to latch on to this in the wrong way. Without understanding. Buffs column.... why is Windfury not in the list? It's in the same vein isn't it? What about if a group has/doesn't have a DH/Monk debuff available? The whole column is sorta... divisive. I don't think it will do positive things for the community. The community are just going to see a bunch of logs with PI in the column and then conclude that PI = the thing that makes the high Dps for everyone. Which isn't wholly true.
Pretty soon you'll need to add Necro Wars to the booster list
I'd love to see a function that allows filtering out people who:- Use external buffs- Use battle potionsI'm a casual raider and I want to be able to compare my performance to other players. Unfortunately, it's extremely hard to compare player performance in WoW, because a significant part of DPS/HPS comes from gear, buffs, and consumables. Everyone's gear will always be different, but external 1-player-focused buffs and battle potions skew the data a lot and make comparisons unnecessarily hard.
now we can See when the fire mage was helped to be more fire than fire is at being fire. :)
Missing druid+kyrian ability there too...As long as the community measures performance by damage done alone meters will always be a stupid parameter cause most time we are talking about padding or ignoring certain mechanics to achieve higher numbers, and that's fine for a pissing contest, but doesn't define who is better, and its bad for a minority which concerns about performing roles during fights and cant focus solely on dps.
not sure innervate carries the same weight as PI to deserve so much attention..
This just highlights why recording people’s DPS in this way is full of problems. The community just get rabid over complicated statistics and draw unsubstantiated conclusions about class balance.
YOYOYOYOOY ppl the column is a perfectly plain efficient gift to anyone discussing how to handle certain Buffs that you can't just get like everyone else , or buy , etc.the ones that are applied to a raider *as opposed to a Different raider* the discussions about these buffs are like uhh *the thing Logs are meant for* , and we can all imagine some teammates glancing at the tables together in an efficient way as they talk through questions & options etc.. . dark side (i mean , before this change) . . you can sit with 1 set of data for hours & devise the perfect use of someones *exclusive buff* like PI - but , you have to prove it will work . you will be asking others for Hours to do that . . . now ,. . you can at least ascertain , if is yet to be proven that you have come up with a recipe for success that has worked for a peer group - you have this layer of protection ,before asking to be worth the opportunity cost of 2 minutes without giving PI to someone Else . . maybe you are the first to think of it , good , now you can actually see that "nobody has given PI to my idea because they all race changed Trolls for this boss which is much more obvious" . if is it yet-to-be proven by a global community of Log uploaders & you dont wanna look at old Beta reports cus 'they never kill anything, so u cant fkn tell at a glance *anything useful* like this' . . ahem . . if you plan to be first-in-class execution of a strategy for PI , *you* of course must negotiate and persuade , . generally dont get hopes up that PI is best on the first person to ask for it *while gamers be progressing* be it for the first time or in the Vanity Fair Parse Runs . is it clear that certain uses for *that buff* are common because they , maybe , compensate sufficiently for some other disadvantages in the Comp (like the panda DK lol JK) ? or maybe,it is evident that a raid with 4 warlocks who are contenders for , say , PI during some Sludgefist pillar or w/e , make use of a strategy that PI is given according to *a Callout , in the moment* because of how RNG has lined up for one of the Warlocks & not the others somehow . That is the kind of insight that **I PERSONALLY** expect for these changes cus you know that there are Like-Comp'd groups out there , 4 warlocks with some potential to get a nasty storm of RNG at the right moment to push the team over the edge if we could come together as 'shareholders' of Power Infusion , able to claim it & the other 'shareholders' are *aware* that PI is best , wherever it is best . Shareholders know their own perfect PI situation , which is in their edge case , very 'improbable' RNG odds , but if 10 members keep eyes open for their own perfect PI situation , You may afford long odds very very effectively . . The list changes serve the *cohort* , the *discussion* , the *communicating & agreeing* - if that is not clearly *for constructive use* , i duno what is , guys ! often , there is a cull de sac plan , 'in most cases, PI goes to ____, then to ____" . . that's the "PRE DATA DEMOCRATIZATION" manifoldthey never consider a call-out / opt-out-of-PI-this-pull option as the strat , without plain visible data on Multiple Reports , being easy to find & share, come to agreements, devise WeakAuras if suspicious, etc. our 4 warlocks from before who didnt talk about their RNG in this manifold , will not justify being PI - - - . . - -
we all know Innervate is up for grabs , when needed . or , it is talked about first .
i can't wait for all the pleb mages, that can't do simple mechanics, asking for PI and Fae Guardians in 15s and above.
