To Ion's response saying that pleasing everyone is their greatest challenge - If you try to please everyone, you end up pleasing no one.
with the zone revamps, they could just do one or two zones a patch and in 2-3 expansions, an entire continent is done
Typical lawyer talk, can't ever get a straight answer out of him.It is not polarized negativity, it's your inability to process any constructive critisism or any feedbackAlso it seems Watcher is confused where is a objective or subjective feedbackNO one asked for GCD and NO one think it was a good changeI never understood this about Blizzard (post MoP i would say) where they make apparently bad calls and stick to them, refusing to acknowledge that was an obvious mistake like GCDWhat is wrong with accepting that you've made a mistake, fix or revert it and move on?When you say "I made a mistake" it will only show your human side, because the only side i can see of Blizzard now is of greedy and arrogant company that try makes out of players, mindless payers
Really? Then leave in touch on the fact that they give Alliance free gear and made it horde turn off for mode in order to level or do any kind of progression? Everywhere you land as horde you instantly die.

Everything you see failing and burning now is the same stuff you had valid feedback on during beta... but did nothing with like: azurite, Warfronts, gearing/regrinding traits, island expeditions, and changes too classes for the sake of changed/not having classes ready. This feels like a “sorry, not sorry, $much too look forward too$ so just keep up the hypeFOR OTHERS HERE: don’t say “just quit” it’s not what we want, we care about the game and want too se it with millions of subs again, but giving non answers and running the ship into the W ground with systems that pleases non is where we are headed. I’m only subbed for the raiding atm, encounter and arts team did a bang on job.
For once some nice questions were asked.
I noticed the bloody GCD change for the first day, now I don't notice it. Most people giving "feedback" are vocal minorities and the followers of youtubers who's brand is "WOW IS DEAD LETS MAKE FUN OF IT".BfA is fine. It's not better than Legion, and that's where the "giant problem" is. It's hard to top defeating the Burning Legion, unless you want every patch to be destroying an Old God, on patch day, with a new patch every month, until there's no story left if the game. It's really like people WANT the game to die. And that's sad.
I really appreciate Ion as a game director. I may not agree with every decision but I just can't help but like the guy.
The game has been this way for the last 10+ years. Classic & Burning Crusade were a different era, changed largely in Wrath of the Lich King (Trial of the Crusader). Going back to the last question regarding diverse groups of players, it's important that gear, power, and progression matter, but they also want the game to be accessible to new or returning players. In Burning Crusade, guilds complained bitterly about having to go back to old content to get attunements in order to keep new players up to par, which made it much harder to recruit and get into raiding as a whole. If you come back and want to play Battle of Dazar'alor today, you may not be able to jump in immediately, but it's much easier than spending 3-4 months farming Uldir and Mythic+ first. Tides of Vengeance adding those catch up mechanics well ahead of Dazar'alor's delayed launch isn't a philosophy change, it was just caused by conflicting holidays. In 8.2: Rise of Azshara, the raid will likely release with or very shortly after the patch. What a joke. So because some guilds were salty having ADHS for not getting into the current raid #$%^ the game forever am i right? Also he dodged the question how it is insulting to expect players to give a !@#$ about gear when they gonna get auto drip feeded gear for nonperforming regardless. There is other %^&* in those this then your turbo only raiding gameplay ion
"They're happy from a customization perspective of making items with more depth to allow you to choose bonuses, rather than secondary stat distributions; that's an interesting and successful system"----my simple question is that: Then what the point of have secondary stat if Blizz ( Stupid Ion and he' s team) dont give a @#$% on it?..and the said ? Successful? This guy must be blinde? The Azerit gear the worst thing ever in history off Wow !
Interesting interview. Good to know that the devs read the fansites too. I'm assuming the more extreme opinions spaffed off into the ether are roundly ignored.
