Overview: Wrathion's [Molten Eruptions] unleash [Molten Pools] throughout the space, consuming 50 energy. When all his energy is depleted, Wrathion melds into the shadows and inflicts [Burning Madness] on enemies and transforms all [Molten Pools] into Crackling Shards. While hidden in the shadows, Wrathion regains energy, and once fully recharged returns to the fight space and turns any remaining Crackling shards into [Lava Pools].

Damage Dealers:
Focus damage on Crackling Shards when they emerge.
Move to a safe space during [Burning Cataclysm] to avoid taking lethal damage.
Running through Crackling Shards while afflicted with [Burning Madness] destroys them.
Healers:
Allies afflicted with [Burning Madness] receive heavy Fire damage.

Stage One: The Black Emperor

Searing Breath: Inflicts 80 Fire damage to all players in a cone in front of the caster and applies a stack of Searing Armor.

Searing Armor: Inflicts 6 Fire damage every 1 sec and increases the damage of Searing Breath by 80% for 20 sec.
This effect stacks.

Incineration: Ignites random targets, inflicting 15 Fire damage every 2 sec for 8 sec. Upon expiration, targets explode, inflicting 90 Fire damage to all players. Damage decreases the further targets are from the point of impact.
Gale Blast: Unleashes a gale blast, inflicting 65 Fire damage and knocking players back within 30 yards, as well as inflicting 45 Fire damage to all players outside of 30 yards.
Afterwards, launches fire balls at random enemy destinations that inflict 75 Fire damage to enemies within 5 yards of impact.
Burning Cataclysm: Wrathion teleports to a random spot and spews fire, inflicting 7 Fire damage to enemies every 1 sec for 8 sec.
Additionally, scorching blisters form throughout the area.

Scorching Blister: From the ash, scorching blisters form. Inflicts 25 Fire damage every 1 sec to enemies standing within them.
These blisters grow over 10 sec before exploding, inflicting 120 Fire damage to enemies within 30 yards.

Molten Eruption: Unleashes a hail of fireballs, inflicting 34 Fire damage and knocking back players within 3 yards of the point of impact.
Each eruption leaves behind a Molten Pool.

Molten Pool: Each Molten Pool transforms into a Crackling Shard when Wrathion's energy reaches zero.

Tail Swipe: Inflicts 80 Physical damage to players in a cone behind him, knocking them back.
Creeping Madness: While under the effects of this madness, players gain stacks of Slow while they are moving for 2.3 min.
At 50 stacks of Slow, the player receives 61 Shadow damage every time they move. (Mythic)

Stage Two: Smoke and Mirrors

Scales of Wrathion: Scales fall from Wrathion. Catching a scale inflicts the player with Burning Madness. Any scales not caught inflict 70 Fire damage to all players.

Burning Madness: While under the effects of madness, any Crackling Shard you run over is destroyed and extends the duration of your Burning Madness. Each time this occurs one stack of Burning Madness is removed. (Normal, Heroic, Raid Finder)
Burning Madness: While under the effects of madness, any Crackling Shard you run over cancels Hardened Core and extends the duration of your Burning Madness. Each time this occurs one stack of Burning Madness is removed. (Mythic)

Crackling Shard: Summoned from molten pools. Any shards still remaining at the end of Stage Two are turned into Lava Pools.

Hardened Core: The shard's hardened core makes them immune to damage. (Mythic)
Pyroclastic Flow: When a shard is destroyed, it inflicts 15 Fire damage to all players within 10 yards.

Lava Pools: Formed from unbroken shards, lava pools inflict 25 Fire damage every 1 sec to players standing within the pool.
Additionally, every lava pool created inflicts a stack of Rising Heat onto players.

Rising Heat: As lava pillars consume the space, heat rises inflicting 0 Fire damage every 1 sec for the duration of the encounter.
This effect stacks.

Ashwalker Assassin: Conjured from smoke and ash, these servants of Wrathion stalk the players during Stage Two. (Heroic, Mythic)

Smoke Shroud: Shrouded in smoke, the assassin fades from view.
Revealing the assassin from stealth or inflicting damage disperses the shroud from the minion.
Noxious Choke: While shrouded, Wrathion's minions stun their victims for 10 sec.
Dark Ambush: While shrouded, Wrathion's minions will strike from the shadows inflicting 120 Shadow damage to their current target.

Maut

As the ancient aqir arose from the desert sands, their prophets set about the construction of an obsidian destroyer imbued with the essence of the Old Gods. Driven by an insatiable thirst for magic, Maut consumed the mana of its creators once it awoke and left their corpses to rot under the scorching sun of Uldum.

Overview: Maut gains mana by [Devouring Magic], leaving behind magical voids of [Devoured Abyss].
Upon reaching full mana Maut becomes encased in [Obsidian Skin] and prepares to unleash [Obsidian Shatter]. When its cast completes or the mana shield is consumed, Maut will once again come alive to drain magic from its enemies.

Stygian Annihilation: Maut causes ancient power to erupt throughout the chamber, inflicting 100 Shadow damage to all players.
Shadow Claws: Maut slashes its current target, inflicting 75 Physical damage and applying Shadow Wounds.

Shadow Wounds: Wounds resulting from Shadow Claws burn with dark energy, inflicting 12 Shadow damage every 2 sec for 24 sec.
This effect stacks.

Dark Manifestation: Maut causes shadows to coalesce at a nearby location, sucking in players and inflicting 75 Shadow damage to all players within 12 yds after 6 sec.
As the shadows collapse a Dark Manifestation is formed.

Dark Manifestation: Shadows twisted into a terrible manfestation of Ny'alotha's dark magic.

Dark Aegis: Swirling Shadow magic protects the Dark Manifestation, causing it to lose mana instead of health.
Dark Offering: The Dark Manifestation sheds up to 20% of its total mana and grants it to Maut.

Devour Manifestation: Maut destroys any Dark Manifestation within 20 yards, devouring part of its mana pool and adding it to its own. (Normal, Heroic, Mythic)

Consuming Shadows: Maut periodically inflicts Shadow damage to all players every 1 sec for 3 sec. Shadow damage increases as it gains mana.
Black Wings: Maut's wings unleash a blast of wind, knocking back all players in a 40 yard cone in front of the caster and inflicting 40 Physical damage. (Heroic, Mythic)
Ancient Curse: Maut afflicts players with an ancient curse, turning players to stone and slowing them by 15%.
When the curse is removed the stone shatters, inflicting 10 Physical damage on all allies.
If the curse remains after 24 sec the player is instantly slain. (Mythic)

Stage Two: Obsidian Statue:
Maut protects itself with [Obsidian Skin] and prepares to destroy its enemies with [Obsidian Shatter].
Maut transforms again when the mana shield is broken or its cast of Obsidian Shatter completes.

Obsidian Skin: Maut transforms into an obsidian statue protected by a mana shield. While the shield lasts, Maut loses mana instead of health and inflicts 100% of incoming damage back on attackers as Arcane damage.
Depleting Maut's mana breaks the spell and interrupts Obsidian Shatter.
Obsidian Shatter: Maut gathers power for 1.3 min. Upon finishing its channel Maut's mana shield shatters, inflicting 300 Shadow damage on all players.
Consumed Magic: Maut consumes 5% mana every 3 sec to permanently increase all magic damage done by 1%.
This effect stacks.
Forbidden Ritual: Maut draws orbs of mana from the altars around it.
Players or creatures that touch the orb explode, inflicting Arcane damage to all players based on how far the orb traveled. Each mana orb that reaches Maut restores up to 20% of its mana.
Players who touch the orb are afflicted with Forbidden Mana.

Forbidden Mana: Mana erupts from the player after 6 sec, granting allies within 20 yds 150% increased mana regeneration and increasing their healing done by 50% for 8 sec.

Drain Essence: Maut drains life and mana from players, inflicting 10 Shadow damage and burning 4 mana every 1 sec for 8 sec. While the spell lasts, Maut gains 1% mana every second.
Upon removal the spell erupts, inflicting 20 Shadow damage and burning 10 mana from allies within 8 yds. (Heroic, Mythic)

The Prophet Skitra

A master of illusion, Skitra delights in terrorizing his victims as he breaks their perception of reality. Those who fail to see through his deceptions become lost in Ny'alotha for eternity.

Heroic

Overview: The Prophet Skitra wields dominating, mind-bending magics and confuses his opponents with illusions.
When the Prophet casts [Illusionary Projection] it will split the raid into two groups. Players with [Clouded Mind] will see one set of illusions, and players with [Twisted Mind] will see another set of illusions.
Both groups will also see the real Prophet Skitra, and will need to coordinate to identify and defeat him.

Tanks:
Work with your fellow tank to avoid taking too many stacks of [Shadow Shock].
Coordinate with allies to discover the real Prophet Skitra when he casts [Illusionary Projection].
Healers:
Allies afflicted with stacks of [Shadow Shock] can take intense amounts of damage.
Run away from allies when afflicted with [Shred Psyche].
Coordinate with allies to discover the real Prophet Skitra when he casts [Illusionary Projection].
Damage Dealers:
Run away from allies when afflicted with [Shred Psyche].

Psychic Outburst: The remnant of the player's shredded psyche lashes out, exploding for 120 Shadow damage to all players. Damage decreases the further players are from the point of impact.

Psychic Reverberations: The Shredded Psyche continues to inflict 8 Shadow damage every 1 sec until defeated. (Normal, Heroic, Raid Finder)

Stage Two: Illusionary Projections

Illusionary Projection: The Prophet inflicts all players with either Clouded Mind or Twisted Mind, and projects illusions of himself throughout the arena.
Damaging illusions causes a Mindquake.
Identifying and damaging the Prophet himself will cause the illusions to dissipate.

Clouded Mind: The Prophet's magic clouds half of his enemies' minds, forcing them to perceive several illusions of the Prophet himself.
Twisted Mind: The Prophet's magic twists half of his enemies' minds, forcing them to perceive illusions of the Prophet.

Dark Ritual: The vile ritual performed by the Prophet's illusions increase all Shadow damage players take by 4% every 5 sec.
This effect stacks.
Illusionary Bolt: The Prophet's illusions inflict 10 Shadow damage to players every 2 sec.
Mindquake: Upon death, false illusions of the Prophet explode, inflicting 100 Shadow damage to all players.

Dark Inquisitor Xanesh

Few can resist the whispers of the Old Gods, but those who do find themselves at the "mercy" of Dark Inquisitor Xanesh. A cruel and sadistic torturer, Xanesh prides herself on slowly carving the sanity away from those in her charge until all that remains is unwavering devotion to N'Zoth.

Overview: Xanesh summons power from the Void to torment players and Queen Azshara. Participate in Xanesh's [Void Ritual] to gain the ability to eliminate [Void Orbs] summoned during the encounter.

Tanks:
Position Xanesh so that allies can safely participate in [Void Ritual].
During [Void Ritual] coordinate with allies that are [Voidwoken] to safely eliminate the [Void Orb].
[Abyssal Strike] inflicts significant damage.
Healers:
During [Void Ritual] coordinate with allies that are [Voidwoken] to safely eliminate the [Void Orb].
Move away from your soul to reduce damage taken from [Soul Flay].
[Anguish] causes damage to all players throughout the encounter.
Damage Dealers:

Dark Inquisitor Xanesh

Void Ritual: Xanesh performs a ritual that requires 3 willing players to participate in it. If 3 players do not participate, Xanesh inflicts 300 Shadow damage to all players.
Players that participate become Voidwoken.
When the ritual finishes, a Void Orb is summoned.

Voidwoken: Voidwoken players are attuned to the Void, reducing damage dealt by 99% and allowing them to redirect Void Orbs for 40 sec.

When the orb touches an open portal it is consumed by the Void, dispersing harmlessly.

Doom: The victim's soul is claimed by the Void, instantly killing them. (Heroic, Mythic)

Revile: Players that are not Voidwoken are knocked away and suffer 26 Shadow damage when coming into contact with a Void Orb.
Dark Collapse: Inflicts 60 Shadow damage to all players and grants Xanesh Dark Ascension and Fanaticism.

Dark Ascension: Increases damage done by Dark Collapse by 500%.
Fanaticism: Increases Attack Speed by 50% for 30 sec.

Summon Ritual Obelisk: Xanesh summons obelisks that create a Ritual Field at their location.
Void Orbs that collide with a Ritual Obelisk trigger Dark Collapse. (Heroic, Mythic)

Ritual Field: Inflicts 20 Shadow damage to players in the area every 1.5 sec and reduces movement speed by 50%. (Mythic, Heroic)

Abyssal Strike: Xanesh strikes her current target with a tendril of void energy, knocking them back and inflicting 60 Shadow damage.
Increases damage taken by Abyssal Strike by 25% for 1 min.
Soul Flay: Xanesh flays the souls of several players, after 10 sec the souls explode inflicting up to 200 Shadow damage to the affected player.

This damage is reduced the further away players are from their Flayed Soul.
Queen Azshara

Torment: Xanesh torments Queen Azshara causing Void energy to erupt from her in multiple directions, inflicting 100 Shadow damage to players struck.
Anguish: Queen Azshara's suffering causes her to radiate Void energy, inflicting 3 Shadow damage to all players every 2 sec.

The Hivemind

Locked in a contest of wills, the generals Ka'zir and Tek'ris constantly vie for dominance over their fellow aqir. As they wrest control away from one another, the hive shifts its tactics and obeys each of their commands with fervent loyalty.

Heroic

Overview: Ka'zir and Tek'ris control and manipulate a hive of Aqir. Infulence over the Aqir shifts between Ka'zir and Tek'ris periodically, altering the Aqir summoned during the encounter.

Tanks:
Tek'ris and Kaz'ir take reduced damage when the positioning requirements of [Tek'ris's Hivemind Control] or [Ka'zir's Hivemind Control] are not met.
Aqir Drones are [Mindless] and do not obey threat.
Ensure that Ka'zir's [Mind-Numbing Nova] is interrupted.
Healers:
[Echoing Void] causes substantial damage to all players.
Aqir Darters inflict damage to all players with [Psionic Resonance].
Aqir Drones will attack allies at random.
Damage Dealers:
Control and quickly defeat Aqir Darters to reduce damage taken by their [Psionic Resonance].
Move away from allies during [Echoing Void] to avoid taking additional damage.
Ensure that Ka'zir's [Mind-Numbing Nova] is interrupted.

Hivemind: Control over the Hivemind shifts between Tek'ris and Ka'zir.

Ka'zir

Volatile Eruption: Ka'zir increases the maximum health of an Aqir Drone by 150% and grants it immunity to loss of control effects.

Spawn Acidic Aqir: Ka'zir spawns Acidic Aqir that travel forward spraying acid, players that come into contact with them suffer 50 Nature damage and are afflicted with Corrosion.

Aqir Ravager: Aqir Ravagers obey threat and inflict heavy Physical damage. (Heroic, Mythic)

Ravage: Inflicts 20 Physical damage every 2 sec for 20 sec. (Heroic, Mythic)

Nullification Blast: Tek'ris blasts the ground, inflicting 40 Shadow damage to players in a frontal cone and afflicting them with Nullification.

Nullification: Inflicts 15 Shadow damage every 2 sec and reduces healing effects received by 100% for 6 sec.

Echoing Void: Tek'ris unleashes a wave of Void energy, inflicting 33 Shadow damage to all players and causes them to pulse an additional 20 shadow damage to allies within 4 yards.

Overview: Drest'agath's appendages burst through the floor and attack enemies who enter her lair. When appendages are destroyed, pools of [Void Infused Ichor] form around their corpse. Enemies who touch [Void Infused Ichor] bypass the continual healing provided by Drest'agath's [Aberrant Regeneration].
In addition to creating pools of [Void Infused Ichor], destroying a tentacle partially fills Drest'agath's Agony bar. Upon reaching 100 Agony, Drest'agath begins [Throes of Agony].

All damage dealt to Drest'agath while not affected by [Void Infused Ichor] will be regenerated.

At 40% health, Vexiona unleashes the full extent of her power and must be defeated quickly before she overwhelms players with [Void Corruption].

Overview: The encounter begins with players facing off against Il'gynoth's reformed body in the center of the arena. Reducing Il'gynoth's health to 0 will cause him to retreat, opening chambers to his three Organs of Corruption while he reforms.
Each Organ of Corruption spawns Bloods of Ny'alotha, but players can slow the blood flow with interrupt abilities. Defeating an Organ of Corruption will cause Il'gynoth to return with restored health.
This cycle repeats until all three Organs of Corruption and Il'gynoth have all been defeated.

Tanks:
Reposition targets to mitigate incidental damage from [Void Dance].
Keep Ulmath's minions within 75 yards of Ulmath to avoid [Soul Tether].
Avoid [Void Dance] and flee from [Mental Collapse].
Healers:
[Void Dance] and [Mental Collapse] can cause significant, avoidable raid damage.

Damage Dealers:
[Forlorn Fate] causes Ulmath and his minions to share damage taken.

Forlorn Fate: Ulmath's minions share health with their master.
Endless Doom: Incites a chain reaction of void energy at targeted locations. Upon impact these locations inflict 30 Shadow damage within 5 yards and additionally trigger Endless Destruction.

Endless Destruction: Void energy erupts, inflicting 60 Shadow damage and knocking back enemies within 10 yards.

Mental Collapse: Commands Moon Priestess Liara to inflict 200 Shadow damage to targets within 30 yards.
While casting, all players are drawn towards Moon Priestess Liara.
Void Dance: Commands Guardian Tannin to enter a Void Dance, inflicting 30 Shadow damage to targets within 0 yards for 9 sec.
This effect also creates 6 additional Void Dance areas nearby for 18 sec.
Soul Tether: When Moon Priestess Liara or Guardian Tannin move more than 75 yards from Ulmath, Ulmath tethers them to him, inflicting 20 Shadow damage to all targets within 100 yards of the tethered target while the tether remains.

Ivus the Decayed

Once a staunch ally in Alterac Valley, Ivus the Forest Lord succumbed to the Horde's defilement after returning to defend Darkshore. Even in decay, with his mind twisted by dark magic, he would rather be cut down than cede even a single inch of the forest to his enemies.

Overview: Ivus the Decayed often uses abilities to attack several players at random and will retreat to the safety of his [Petrified Bark] when at low health.

Tanks:
Ivus will cast [Plague Breath] in your direction, leaving a [Plagued Bog] on the ground beneath you.
[Fungal Bloom] will leave a few clear areas on initial impact before spreading.
Plaguelings summoned while Ivus is [Petrified] fixate on players at random and cannot be controlled through threat generation.

Summoned by the night elves in times of desperation, Ivus the Forest Lord has wielded his raw strength against the Horde time and again. Now he has returned from Alterac Valley to stand in defense of his home and crush any who threaten it.

Doom's Howl

Doom's Howl was created from stolen Alliance engineering plans. Used to transport hordes of troops into the worst combat conditions, this gigantic vehicle can also transform into a powerful siege platform capable of decimating enemy fortifications.

Consuming Spirits: Causes random players to become suffused with energy that bursts forth inflicting 7 Shadow damage to allies within 8 yards every 2 sec for 6 sec.
Terror Wail: Inflicts 37 Shadow damage to all enemies in a cone in front of the caster, causing them to flee in fear for 3 sec.

Ji'arak

This mighty pterrordax has a roost high up in the mountains of Zuldazar, where the air is too thin for most lungs to draw breath, and life struggles to take hold. Occasionally she descends upon the swamps below in search of heartier meals to bring back to her brood.

Storm Wing: Ji'arak flaps her wings, inflicting 8 Physical damage every 1 sec and pushing enemies away.
Hurricane Crash: Ji'arak lifts off and draws enemies towards her. After 8 sec Ji'arak crashes down, inflicting 90 Physical damage to all enemies caught beneath her.
Matriarch's Call: Ji'arak cries out, summoning Ji'arak Broodling to attack nearby enemies.

Ji'arak Broodling: Summoned by Matriarch's Call.

Clutch: Clutches an enemy and takes off, after 6 sec the caster drops the victim.

Hailstone Construct

Built by the original inhabitants of Drustvar, the Hailstone Construct was built to defend these lands from any invaders. However, years of dormancy have left it addled, and it now sees all residents as threats, vowing to destroy them all.

Overview: The Hailstone Construct uses a variety of attacks to chill its enemies, from inflicting Frost damage in its melee swings to massive AOE attacks that both slow and freeze anyone hit.

Tanks:
[Ice-rimed Fists] causes all of Hailstone Construct's attacks to cause Frost damage instead of Physical, so magical defenses will be handy.
Use cover created by [Permafrost Spike] to avoid being frozen by [Freezing Tempest].
Move to avoid [Glacial Breath].

Glacial Breath: Releases a breath of frozen air, inflicting 10 Frost damage and slowing all enemies in front of the caster. While casting Glacial Breath, the caster rotates in a random direction.
Freezing Tempest: Lets out a massive blast of icicles in all directions, inflicting 20 Frost damage to all enemies in line of sight and freezing them.

Warbringer Yenajz

Dark whispers shroud Stormsong Valley, as rumors of eldritch creatures spread throughout the countryside and families mark their doors with runes from the local scribes. Often dismissed as exaggeration, sometimes housewives' tales fall far short of the true horrors that lurk in the realm beyond our sight.

Azurethos, The Winged Typhoon

Azurethos, the terror of the Kul'tiran seas, marshalls the power of wind to force enemies out of its roost, cause waterspouts, and capsize ships. He has earned his reputation as one of the deadliest beasts in Kul Tiras.

Overview: Azurethos attacks the party with the power of wind in an attempt to force them out of its roost.

Tanks:
Avoid [Wing Buffet] - and if you are hit by it, quickly re-establish threat.
Move away from the boss when he begins casting [Azurethos' Fury] to make dodging tornados easier.
Azurethos will move to a random player when casting [Gale Force] - be sure you are not standing in front of him when it goes off, or you risk being knocked off of the mountain!
Healers:
Move away from the boss when he begins casting [Azurethos' Fury] to make dodging tornados easier.

Azurethos' Fury: Azurethos gathers the wind in his wings and unleashes a barrage of tornados that move away from him in a spiral pattern.

Gale Force: Azurethos' unleashes a massive burst of wind in a line in front of him, inflicting 31 Nature damage to any players caught in the burst and knocking them back extremely far.
Wing Buffet: Inflicts 80 Physical damage to players in a frontal cone, knocking them back and reducing their threat.

Dunegorger Kraulok

Revered by all trolls, but the Zandalari especially, the bones of the giant reptiles of Zandalar dot the landscape. But as dark energies stir beneath the sands, sometimes that which was meant to remain dead, does not. Kraulok walks the sands once again, blinded by rage and the endless agony of his dying moments. Woe to those who find themselves in the beast's path.

Overview: Dunegorger Kraulok goes through periods of rapidly alternating casts of [Sonic Bellow] and [Earth Spike]. Avoid these attacks and press on to victory.

Damage Dealers:
When Dunegorger Kraulok [Bellows] he picks a random player and locks his facing until he finishes.
[Earth Spike] damages everyone within 2 yards, and knocks victims up into the air.
Ravenous Ranishu summoned through [Shake Loose] are [Ravenous] and will [Swing Wildly].

Ravenous Ranishu

Ravenous: This creature is so hungry it can't control its impulses. With each melee swing there is a chance this creature will seek out a new victim.
Ravage: The caster rakes their claws across the target's flesh, causing them to bleed for 10 sec.
Wild Swings: The caster swings their claws wildly, striking all targets within 5 yards for Physical damage.
