Excellent to hear. I am getting more optimistic about D4 as things progress and they show more about it. And *hopefully* the info about being able to find/earn special mounts is true, because riding around on a horse (even a customizable one) is boring.
One of the most disappointing things about trying to play D3 with my friends was that platform separation. They all had PS4s and one a Switch, but I had it on PC and it sucked not being able to play together. Break down the barriers, let people play together! The technology is there! You love to see it.
The words "live service" makes me skeptical, but let's hope the game is good.

I love the idea of cross play. I guess controller support for PC as well helps break down barriers and makes the game much more accessible.
The live service element tells me this will probably be the last Diablo game for a while for the main series, and this will just be a game that builds the lore and gameplay for the majority of Diablo life. That's fine with me, as long as they do this right. Let's hope they knock this one out of the park! I'm excited af for this game, but they better release perfection. Cuz, this is their last chance with me lol.
Does "Cross-Progression" mean I need to buy multiple copies of the game to play on PC and Console?
