there is a spicment tank you have to land all 4 abilitys on them. pretty easy to do the tank in located in a corner and have the flame guy tank ontop of it

On the left hand corner of the room as you walk in, there's a Forgotten Specimen Tank.

Hitting it with Fiery Meteor from the fire elemental will turn it red.
Hitting it with Umbral Detonation from the void elemental will turn it purple.
Hitting it with Blistering Twilight from the main boss in P2 will spawn an add called Shadowflame Remnant.

We started the fight by pulling the fire elemental to the Specimen Tank and facing him towards it since it's always in front of him. When he casted Meteor we had the fire team soak it, then pulled him away so the void team could drop the next set of Umbral Detonations on it. Then we pushed the bosses to 50% and when in the last phase we dropped a Blistering Twilight on it, which spawned the add. The add must be killed before the boss dies to get the achieve and it has quite a bit of health but does nothing of note.

Instructions for the Amalgamation Chamber - There’s a Forgotten Specimen Tank in the bottom left corner of the room. This needs to be hit by Umbral Detonation, the purple circle put on players, cast by the purple elemental which will turn the tank purple, and Fiery Meteor, which is the soak circle, cast by the fire elemental which will turn the tank orange. The tank needs to drag the bosses to the corner one by one and wait for the ability to strike the specimen container. Continue the boss fight, and when the 2 bosses amalgamate at 50%, the specimen tank needs to be hit by Blistering Twilight, that is the orange circle cast on players, the tank will explode and will spawn a Shadowflame Remnant. Nuke down the add, then nuke the boss.

If you kill the add and then wipe you will need to reset the instance for the add to spawn again

As you enter the room, to the left there is a Forgotten Specimen Tank, you need to hit it with three abilities.

I recommend moving both bosses near the tank so DPS and tanks don't need to run very far to hit the tank.

The three abilities are:
Umbral Detonation Umbral Detonation from the Essence of Shadow.
Fiery Meteor from the Eternal Blaze.
Blistering Twilight from Shadowflame Amalgamation.

After being hit with each ability, the tank will change colors.

Once hit, an add called Shadowflame Remnant will spawn. Kill the remnant, and then the boss for the Shadowflame Amalgamation.

Defeat the Shadowflame Amalgamation after using Umbral Detonation, Fiery Meteor and Blistering Twilight on a Forgotten Specimen Tank to create and extinguish a Shadowflame Remnant in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible on Normal difficulty or higher.
