Had no idea this was a puzzle. I thought I just had to turn them all off.

There's an extra action button that shows up for the Infested Crushers.

I was stuck on turning in the quest. It had disappeared from my map. I checked all the places I had been. I finally tracked down where 'Zee-Zee' is. He pops back up when you fly to the area (55.50, 40.70) in the Ringing Deeps at Shadowvein. I had flown all around but just not hit the right spot.

If Dagran doesn't start talking (happened to me when i tried talking with Zee-Zee before the hologram popped up) just drop the quest and pick it back up. Relogging doesn't fix it.

You can decontaminate the infested carts in druid travel from without killing the adds. Speeds up the process

the pattern is for the pipes:
1) top, bottom, middle (on the 3 pipes)
2) bottom (of the two valves to the right of those)
3) top (of the two valves on the other side of room)

If you are a class that can stealth, you can activate the ZZ's Arc Emitter near a crusher than quickly stealth before the mobs aggro. A second later they will despawn and you will not be required to kill them to progress. They're a bit annoying to kill if your DPS isn't too good yet.

If you're quick enough when you use ZZ's Arc Emitter near a crusher then click your mount as soon as you see the spell go off. You can skip the mobs this way :)

If you're like me and you flew away expecting the turn in to be somewhere else, you want to go back to the shadowvein min east of the main town, Gundargaz, near the second lake.

If for some reason the extra button stop appearing and you can't complete the Infested Crushers Decontaminated part, type the macro : /click ExtraActionButton1 next to one

When it says here on wowhead "End: Maintenance Machine" they haven't clarified that you turn it in to the tiny little roundheaded bot you've been questing alongside. Of course, they'll only have the giant quest ? over their head when you're in the correct subzone (Shadowvein Extraction)

I confess I took a while and finished a world quest while figuring it out. d'OH
