If the NPC does not spawn when you complete the quest, a quick relog should fix it.

You no longer need to click on the focus shields.

You need to stand in the pool of anima next to the NPC and channel.

Ignore the videos as these are the old way of doing the quest.

I couldn't figure out what to do because I never dragged my zone ability to my bar, and it was covering up the quest ability (ElvUI)

Stand next to the swirly thingy next to the quest giver and you will get an action bar. Took me awhile to figure it out after walking around like an idiot.

You need to stand in the circle and click the action button that pops up. Conveniently the zone ability you get blocks the button, so you'll need to drag it elsewhere. Bone-headed design.

The pool for the quest is a small flat light blue swirly pool to the right of the NPC Mikanikos when you have your back to the mirrors facing towards the center that looks like something you are not supposed to be standing in. The ability is channeled and you only have to do it once.

If the ability does not come up, try disabling any UI addons like Elv UI.

The quest markers and some quest addons may still indicate that you need to go click on the mirrors for right now but just ignore them. :)

Quest Name:	Start and description
1. Chasing a Memory	Pick Up quest from Kleia 54 73.5 and go to Mikanikos 55 64.
2. Directions Not Included	You need to find Locus Manual you can pick it up from scrols on ground rate is low. Do this quest together with The Prime's Directive.
3. The Prime's Directive	collect 12 Centurion Core is droping from mobs. return quest to Mikanikos 57 62.
4. The Mnemonic Locus	Use extra skill on 57.1 61.7
5. What's In a Memory?	Speak with Mikanikos kill the mobs and collect 10 Memory of the Forsworn and then press on fragment of Lysonia.
6 Lysonia's Truth	press on 4 Soul Mirror 58 64.5 - 58.9 62.7 - 59.5 59.5 - 57.2 54.5 is like in the cave.
7 I MADE You!	speak with Mikanikos and defeat Locus-Keeper Mnemis.
8 Mnemis, At Your Service	You need to find Ceremonial Offering 59.8 583 and Carved Kyrian Idol 60.6 61.9 they are in case. Then go to Locus-Keeper Mnemis 58.8 65.2.
9 The Vault of the Archon	First click on 2 Vault Guardian they are on left and right then go inside. Inside first go on left and speak with Mikanikos then move back to Kleia to help Her with killing mobs after last wave go inside tunnel on right to speak with Vault-Keeper Mnemis.
10 A Paragon's Reflection	Press on 6 Eye to activate them
11 Leave it to Mnemis	Move back and use Anima Gateway 57.7 67.2

If you are using Bartender, temporarily disabling it allows access to the Empower Extractor.

I needed to abandon quest. Then when I approached Mikanikos, speaking with him turned on my extra action-button, above action-bars. Quests performed with logic after that!

The Mnemonic Locus

Use the Anima Conduits to restore the Mnemonic Locus.

Description

<Mikanikos examines the scroll you retrieved for him.> Right, right. Soul mirrors and Locus are tied together. If we restore anima to mirrors, it should repair the Locus back to full functionality. Thankfully, the cores you brought should be sufficient. All I need to do is enable conduits. Simple! Well? Go on. You know how to use these, yes?
