Invasion Points locate at random part of zone and marked as green circles.
They are short "scenario quests", generally you have to slay demons till progress bar get 100%.
Then you have to complete any task with environment.
The last phase is a fight boss demon.

I had issues getting Illidan to spawn to turn the quest in after completing it.

Eventually I went to the building on the ground in Krokuun directly beneath the Vindicaar and used it to warp up and he was there.

After you take a quest look on map and go to any invasion portal.

This is a first Quest about invasions.

Is 3 stages. on last one is last boss to kill. As well i did not have any party but was around 10 ppl inside.

Thought I'd give it a try. Stage One - Kill 3 "Bleeders" (apparently no hemophiliacs allowed). Except it's not three bleeders, it's three of those plus one-to-two attendants per bleeder, a friend or two plus roaming uglies, all of whom are regular 110s with a little extra health, and some thorny things that pop out of the ground and stun you as well as hitting you with an ongoing health drain. Annoying but survivable. If you're not a self-healing class, it's going to be a lot tougher. So - figure for the three bleeders you need to kill eighteen to twenty mobs. With the thorny things, there doesn't appear to be a limit; they were still spawning all over the place after stage One. Stage Two - "Stop the Invasion." Excuse me? What specifically did you have in mind? At this point, about a dozen other winged creatures appear and you're literally fighting a dozen of them at once. OK, I'm happy with my 905 item level and Ferals can do some self-healing but this was ridiculous and I ran out of there like a scalded dog.

Later, while suggesting to a guildmate that whichever designer had put this together must be upset that his parents never saw each other again after that fateful evening and other allusions to his struggle with multiple addictions complicated by those years of mental disease, he responded that you're supposed to go in a group.

Oh. Follow his advice and it will be a walk in the park.

I am trying to do this quest to unlock the allied races but there isnt anyone else here doing these quests. How am I supposed to complete this?

I started this quest, got to about 10% and had to leave my computer so I logged off inside. Logged back on a few hours later and the quest was completed

If, like me, you're trying to unlock allied races and getting stuck, try heading to Stormwind and talking Chromie by the Embassy. If you're in Chromie Time, ask her to return to the present. You should then be able to have a level 60 buddy come in with you and take care of this.

I couldn't figure out what the objective was.

I killed every single mob inside the portal and the big boss mob twice and nothing happened.

I couldn't even get to the portal at the top of the map. I went as far north as I could and ran into "hard air," that magical video game element that you can see through but can't walk through because the developers said so.

This whole zone reminds me very much of the Tanaan Jungle where they took a small area and loaded it up with trash mobs and artificial obstacles like they're cutting cocaine with baking soda except it's game content.

Edit: I finally figured it out. I wasn't doing things in the direction and order Bliz wanted. I'm such an idiot.

You can't just pick a portal and go inside. You have to go to the one at the top of the map. And you can't walk clockwise around the big blockade of obstructions like a normal human would do. No. If you do that, you'll run into a barricade and then and only then, realize that you need to walk back through the trash mob gauntlet anti-clockwise all the way across the map again, and do it the right direction. Then go inside the correct portal. Then walk back and forth through the instance 4 times doing different things each time. THEN you can turn in the quest.

This quest operates like a bad parent rubbing their child's nose in a dirty diaper.

And then, because flying still isn't allowed in this zone in 2021, you get to walk aaaaaaaall the way across the map again to get to the quest turn-in.

I'm currently working through Legion on a Demon Hunter, and was sent to Legion timelinethat way (Not via Chromie Time).

At level 47, doing this quest I noticed that each Phase would auto-complete after a certain amount of time. I got to 75% in the first phase, then tried to kill 1 of 8 elites and got killed. While waiting for a max level friend to come help, the phase ended and phase 3 started. The boss was at 30% and by the time I got from the entrance to her, she was dead.

So if you're worried about completing this quest solo, it seems to just finish on its own after a while.

ATTENTION! I tried this as a lvl 48 Disc priest... I died FAST! Brought in a friend... I couldn't keep him alive long... My brother brought his 60 DH and the mechanics changed again and it was MUCH harder. All the while they were squished down to 50 and the boss was 2 lvl above everyone... someone suggested that i get to 50 and it should be easier... So i gave that a shot, boss was now lvl 47 and i solo's all 3 phases in about 5 mins...

TLDR; Do NOT attempt until 50 unless you like spending 2-3 hrs dragging your friends to their death, its super easy to solo @ 50!

Coming back to the game after being away and wanting to unlock the new races seems impossible…. Any ideas how to solo the Where They Least Expect It Quest or any places I could find people who might be willing to help me complete it

Managed to complete this with ease at level 60 (the enemies in the instance are level 45).

I tried to solo at level 59 and was unable as a spriest. I did a few dungeons and got to level 60. When I got back, I was teleported to Stormwind as chromie time ends at 60. I used my Dalaran Hearthstone and went to Krasus's landing to teleport back to where an invasion is.
I went into an invasion solo and nearly everything died in one-shot.

If you are struggling, level up to level 60 and come back.
