How do you get this quest? I have gone to the engineer quest giver in dalaran, no luck, I am maxed 800/800 on engineering and nothing.

THis quest and the Wormhole Argus quest seem to hav eno information in game on how to get both of these.

My guess is that this will come with 7.3: week-2 & Mac'Aree, like some of the other profession Quests... just speculation & I call out down-raters to actually provide evidence that I'm wrong, rather than 'just be Trolls' and down-rating for LOL's.

Press space bar to jump and use Prototype Gravitational Reduction Slippers at same time. you will fly up and when you land use Prototype Gravitational Reduction Slippers to calibrate, Rinse and repeat

A small fyi for any demon hunters attempting this. While doing this quest, you can NOT open your wings. I jumped really high in dalaran thinking i could just glide down....and ended up dying. XD

This is a ton of fun for Subtlety Rogues (no fall damage) and probably one of the few classes that would want it.

Way to expensive for only a 3 minute buff .. they could at least make an engineer only permanent buff.

Click on the Prototype Gravitational Reduction Slippers to enable the higher jump buff, followed by hitting the space-bar to jump as usual.
After the jump, click the item to calibrate and then jump again. Do this one more time and you're done.
You don't have to go outside to jump. Just stand next to Hobart Grapplehammer and jump indoors; much safer. ;)

To be eligible for this quest, you need to start the chain with The Wrench Calls on the Vindicaar in Argus.

do not abandon, you won't get the slippers to use off quest. although i wish i could do it again, to jump really high in dal!

Description

So there I was thinkin' about how to get everyone ready for movin' around Argul or whatever it's called, since I figure its gravity is different than ours, and I come up with a design for a device you slip onto your shoes, or hooves or whatever you're wearin' down there.

Next thing I hear, the gravity on that planet? Completely the same as ours!

Regardless, I figure I could get the prototype workin'. Mind givin' me a hand? Maybe when we're done you can like, sell 'em to kids or somethin'.
