Has anyone else noticed that when you put Meryl Felstorm in a mission, the percent chance goes down? Right now, I've got the mission Deep Dak Val'Sharah, XP 3000 Time 14 hr. I have Archmage Kalec iLvL 850, Arcane Spec, Dragons Wrath and Counterspell for his abilities and Vial of Timeless Breath (Increases success chance on missions longer than 8 hours by 40%) and Hasty Pocketwatch (Increases success chance by 20% on missions shorter than 4 hours) in his Equipment Slots. I have Arcane Destroyer iLvL 850, Arcane Spec, Bink and Carged Core abilities with Sturdy Hiking Boots (Increases success chance on missions longer than 8 hours by 20%) and Vial of Tmeless Breath (Increases success chance on missions longer than 8 hours by 40%) in his Equipment slots.

Meryl Felstorm, Frost spec with Blizzard and Conjure Refreshment as his abilities and Auspicious Fetish (Increases success chance of missions by 15%) and Sturdy Hiking Boots (Increases success chance on missions longer than 8 hours by 20%).

Without Meryl Felstorm on the mission the success chance is 200%. Just for the conjure refreshment ability I put him in the mission. The success chance dropped to 152%. He fulfills a hazard on the mission Lytheron Gloomscales, Minions Slowing Mission duration increased. Without him on the mission it's 14 hrs, with him on the mission it's 7 hrs. So, why would the success chance fall if he's on it? Could it be since the mission duration before is 14 hrs giving the equipment from the other two increasing the success chance by 20% + 40% +40 active. But since his equipment shortens the time of the mission to less than 8 hrs they're negated?

I think I just answered my own question. I'm going to leave this here in case someone else wonders that same thing but didn't realize that the hazard Lytheron Gloomscales helps with equipment that increases success change on missions longer than 8 hrs and not to counter it.
