The portal to deepholm can be found besides the totem table game

If you are like me and go to Deepholm through another means than the portal in class hall the quest dialogue will play through but the quest itself will not be able to be turned in. You have to use the portal in the class hall. If you are standing on the main path with the Vortex Pinnacle portal to your left, you will notice a ramp pathway on the right before the portal back to Dalaran. Taking that portal will allow the quest to be turned in.

Hi i dont seem to get anything at all when i pass into deepholm through the portal. i handed the quest in but then nothing. could this be because i have never quested there or am i missing something (which is totally likely)

Do you have to complete enemies of air to get this quest? I have completed oath of the windlord and I was pretty sure I completed Mission: Investigating Deepholm, but I'm not getting this quest to go through the portal.

Answered my question this morning with finishing Enemies of Air. Yes, you do have to complete enemies of air before getting mission: Investigating Deepholm though it doesn't show this on the quest progression here on WoWHead.

Once you receive the quest, the objective is "Deepholm portal taken." When you look at your map, it appears as though you need to take the Dalaran portal - this is not the case... What you actually need to do is go up the ramp to the right of the giant fireball (behind Summoner Morn), go right at the fork, to where Puzzlemaster Lo is sitting with the two Curious Water Spirits. The portal to Deepholm is just to the right of them. As soon as I clicked on the portal, it completed the objective and I was able to turn the quest into Therazane.

There is a portal back to the Maelstrom at Therazane's Throne when you're done.

This deserves to be its own post...

You have to have Doomhammer to continue with this order campaign line. Otherwise, you "don't meet the requirements." I had Doomhammer and this concurrently, at level 110. I tried to do them together, but was unable to continue this one. I finished Doomhammer, looped back around, and indeed... there was the next step.

Take the portal to Deepholm in class hall at 27.2 51.2. Therazane awaits you at 56.4 12.2 point.

I had done all artifact questlines and did the whole shaman campaign up to the mission to Investigate Deepholm. After I completed it, there was no follow up quest. I was lvl 26 at that time and it seems you cannot progress your campaign any further until you reach lvl 45, regardless if you have Doomhammer or not.

Description

In order to unite the four Elemental Lords of Azeroth, you will need to seek out Therazane and convince her to join the cause of Azeroth.

However, the Stonemother currently has her hands full battling a Twilight's Hammer resurgence in Deepholm.

If we lend Therazane our aid she may agree to unite with the Earthen Ring against the Burning Legion.

Journey to Therazane's Throne in the heart of Deepholm. Aid her in defeating the Twilight's Hammer and convince her to join the defense of Azeroth!
