If you can't enter the Eye of Azshara, it might help setting your instances to "normal"

Do not try this alone, do not try entering the Eye of Azshara, it is a dungeon quest. On my questlog, it isn't marked as dungeon (like quests used to in Draenor, or those Inn quests in our Garrison).

You have to hand this in in the instance. Don't do what I did and complete it then assume the handin was in Azsuna!

Incredibly stupid quest design! Pretty much the only 5-man dungeon quest EVER that you have to turn in inside the dungeon.

(Please refrain from referring to some odd 10 year old Burning Crusade content, where the quest return NPC spawned instantly right next to the final boss. Been there! Done that! Thank you!)

Here are some things that my help a bit:

1. This quest can be done on normal or heroic mode.
2. You can re-enter the mob-free instance (heroic only, due to the daily lockout) to retrieve the quest item.

I noticed that the quest is handed in inside the instance only because the Tidestone spawned beside me. Unfortunately I wasn't able to hand it in because despite having just completed the dungeon the quest decided that I had somehow done so without completing the first step of the quest: Entering the Eye of Azshara. Group broke before I could run out and back in, so I have to redo it all over again.

I'm not a dungeon person, things like this make it much harder to enjoy the experience.

If you don't have credit for the "Eye of Azshara entered" part, just run up to the entrance (you don't have to leave - just go near the entrance portal) and you should get that credit piece. Then back to the last boss corpse to hand-in.

This can be done on mythic +0 but not in keystone mythic

So with Chromie time, how do you complete this? Leveling in legion and can't queue for this dungeon.

If you're like me, you didn't set the Chromie Time properly and thus can't queue. Head back to your faction's Embassy and speak to her again, she'll give you a proper list to choose from that'll set your dungeons to that expansion.

If you are doing this quest line because you want to start the Balance of Power quest line in Shadowlands, make sure you DO NOT do this dungeon on Mythic level, a quest in the balance of power quest line follows shortly after Eye of Azshara: The Heart of Zin-Azshari, and it needs to be done on mythic level. I have to therefore now wait until next reset before i can continue the Balance of Power quest line...

Eye of Azshara: Wrath of Azshara

Enter the Eye of Azshara, then defeat Warlord Parjesh and the Wrath of Azshara. The Eye of Azshara is a dungeon so be certain to gather some friends to undertake this perilous journey.

Description

<name>, Warlord Parjesh ran into the magical vortex just ahead. He has returned to an island off the shore to the southeast where Queen Azshara is staging more of her forces. The queen is beyond angry because we opposed her. Even now, she is summoning up a monstrosity known as her Wrath to exact revenge for our defiance and drown the Broken Isles. You must defeat the Wrath of Azshara before the queen lets it loose to destroy us all!
