When you kill Ranjit, the first boss, you go right after the stairs and the item is on the table there.

This quest requires killing the 1st boss (and now, the last boss as well) of the heroic dungeon and thus cannot be stealthed. The item of interest is located right after the 1st boss: up the stairs, to the right, on a table that's to the right of the entrance into the 2nd boss' room.

Now requires to kill the end boss too.
Like with all other Inn quest, to prevent lfd groups to split up after getting the quest item as i think.

Just to clarify... You have to kill the last boss on EITHER normal OR heroic. You can only loot the quest quest item, however, from heroic or challenge mode difficulties.

If you are unable to turn the dungeon quest in at your Garrison Inn, you may have missed the last boss for the dungeon. A display issue caused these quests to show as complete before the final dungeon boss was defeated. Follow the steps below to resolve the display issue on your client:

Open the Battle.net app and select World of Warcraft on the left-side of the app.
Click the Options dropdown menu and select Show in Explorer.
Double-click the World of Warcraft folder.
Delete the Cache folder.
Restart World of Warcraft.

The Lunarfall Inn and Frostwall Tavern quest NPCs may not all be present at the same time when handing in a large amount of quests. Leaving the garrison area and then returning will change which NPCs are there, and you should be able to hand in your quests.

Just tried similar to what blue post advises, however, what I did was:

Exit WoW
Opened WoW folder in applications
Deleted cache folder

Did not use browser as suggested, try going straight to your WoW folder.

This worked for me.

Both objectives for this, and all Lunarfall Inn/Frostwall Tavern quests can be completed in Mythic difficulty.

I joined a group that had already killed the 1st boss, forgot about the item at the time, Ran back to get it and it wasn't there. Either you don't get it if you join a group in progress, or you don't get it if you've killed the last boss. This needs fixed.

Description

I did not come here to fight, I have seen too many die already. I have killed so many with my own hands.

I have come to seek the light, and redemption.

The arakkoa of this land worship the sun as I do. But they are a violent, isolationist, and decadent race, who seem to derive a different message than my own people. This troubles me.

Bring me one of their Sun Crystals. I wish to see this light.
