There is a pretty cool dialogue between Lor'Themar, Aethas and Rommath as you complete the quest. The Regent Lord is pretty frustrated by Garrosh's and Jaina's actions.

Listen to Rommath and jump off the edge of Dalaran at the end. It may seem suicidal, but before you hit the water you land on a dragonhawk.

Don't just go jump off the side of Dalaran anywhere, as when I did I died. I had to jump out the sewer tunnel where you originally come in to get picked up by the dragonhawk.

Escape from Dalaran means taking Rommath's portal, escorting Aethas through the sewer canals and jumping off the edge of Dalaran and miraculously landing on the back of a dragonhawk which takes you safely to Silvermoon...

...not using a Hearthstone as I did :P

Just go to Dominance Point and talk with flight master NPC and choose option 'get me to dalaran'
and u will get phased with able to see quest NPC.

Lor'themar Theron yells: Aethas! You're alive!
Archmage Aethas Sunreaver says: Thanks to this hero, a few of us made it out of there. Many more have been sent to the Violet Hold.
Lor'themar Theron says: Anar'alash denal! Will someone tell me WHAT is going on in Dalaran?
Archmage Aethas Sunreaver says: Proudmoore! She's gone and expelled the Sunreavers from the city. She's purging the Horde from the Kirin Tor!
Lor'themar Theron says: She's gone too far. I'm certain the Alliance can move their war mages through the city at will. That human ... witch!
Lor'themar Theron says: When will they learn? When will they see that the Horde exists BECAUSE of the Alliance? Because of their prejudice and their bigotry! They force us ever closer to Hellscream's Horde.
Archmage Aethas Sunreaver says: My Lord...
Lor'themar Theron says: Hal'duron, summon the rangers. Rommath, assemble the Blood Magi, and add the Sunreavers' strength to your own.
Lor'themar Theron says: We Sin'dorei will take our future into our own hands.
Lor'themar Theron says: And get this damn thing out of my sight! Hellscream bought this treasure with the blood of my people. I hope it destroys him.
Grand Magister Rommath says: My Lord. YOU would make a fine Warchief.

After you get to Silvermoon take the portal back to Domination Point and pick up the next quest from General Nazgrim.

Im stock after the Darnassus quest, and now im comming to the Dalaran quest,
but i cant start it. Please help me !

For some reason, when I tried to do this quest recently, my character would summon the dragonhawk while falling, but it wouldn't catch him and he would just fall to his death. I've tried to redo the quest but it still doesn't work. He's now stuck in phased Dalaran. I made a bug report so hopefully they will fix it soon.

So far I've jumped off 3 times and died 3 times, and I've waited for the NPC's to jump too.

I got distracted and did not take the portal right away and it disappeared. Zuros and Aethas returned, so I re-killed Zuros. However, no Rommath and no portal. I tried going into the sewer tunnel but no NPC's. I abandoned the quest and Rommath was back in the center of Dalaran and did still offer the quest.

In the new Pandaria Remix event, before escaping Dalaran there is a hyper spawn point of Silver Covenant mobs in the Underbelly just before the sewer pipe. Feels like around 15-20k per hour. Farm up before finishing the quests in this area!

Description

We've looked everywhere he's likely to be, except for one place: the Violet Citadel.

Find out if Archmage Aethas is being held within the citadel, <name>. We may get lucky. If not... at least we saved a number of lives today.
