This is the start of the 5.1 quest chain with The Black Prince-the Alliance version.
The quests so far stand like this:
The Measure of a Leader
The Prince's Pursuit
The Lion Roars-this quest's requirements used to be 'complete 10 battlegrounds', but it is now shortened to winning 1 victory in each of the MoP battlegrounds.
A Change of Command-a group is required!
Call of the Packmaster-this rewards you with Eye of the Black Prince. Note: The eye creates a prismatic socket, not a Sha-touched one, so no crystallized gems can be placed in a prismatic one.

The Thunder King, although not mentioned in the chain, is most likely offered after A Change of Command, if the pattern is likely to repeat how the legendary quests were lined up for the Legendary socket quest line, the earlier example being Incoming....

Another noteworthy quest is obtainable after you have completed Breath of the Black Prince, A Test of Valor. This quest isn't retroactive, so you'll have to earn 6000 more VP. Also, this counts towards a bonus achievement A Test of Valor.

The quest goes into exposition mode, and for the sake of posterity here's a transcript of the monologue, which is accompanied with various visual aids in the game (Wrathion does all the talking):

Tong! Something to eat, please.

The High King. Varian Wrynn - Leader of the Alliance.
Did you know, he was once a gladiator? Oh yes, I've been doing my research.
Suffering from amnesia, he fought for his life in Horde arenas.
There, he earned the name "Lo'Gosh," or "Ghost Wolf."
He IS a fighter. But...is he a leader?
Think about it! His enemies took advantage of my father's Cataclysm.
Horde soldiers thundered across the realm in the wake of the devastation.
Varian Wrynn didn't use the disaster to gain a military advantage.
Is this because he is weak...? Or because he is principled?
Here's the bigger question: Can principles win a war?
Make no mistake. Pandaria will challenge your King.
Let us see what he is truly made of.
Let us see if your Alliance has what it takes to rule Azeroth.

Eating the food on Tong cooks up gives you +250(500 for Pandaren) to your primary stat(stamina/intellect/agility) :)

Can anyone recognize what armors Varian is wearing and what weapons he has when he is shown as Lo'Gosh?

Description

We've progressed to a new part of the Pandaren campaign. The Alliance has landed on the shores with the full might of its navy. Your King aims to check Horde aggression in this new land.

Garrosh Hellscream is propelling the Horde headfirst into battle, but King Varian Wrynn is a little more of a mystery to me. Do you have a moment? I'd like to talk to you about this leader of yours.
