Since you obtain this in Winterspring you maybe wondering if this gives credit towards the Winterspring Quests achievement - However it does not.

Still lacking one quest for completion of that achievement, but i haven't yet found it.

This quest does not count towards the achievement. Just did it today with 59/60 quests left and I still have one to go.

This is not true. I found the best way to get there is to take the the portal in Org to the Dark Portal then run north. Much faster.

For me, the "best way to Dreadmaul Hold" at level 54 (unable to take the portal from Org yet, and without any mage friends online) was to take the zeppelin to Stranglethorn Vale, run SOUTH for a bit through the Cape, then head east towards the South Seas. Once I got to the water, I used Reins of the Azure Water Strider and ran east, along the south coast of Northern Stranglethorn, on top of the water, until I got to Blasted Lands.

If you head onto dry land at the first available spot, you'll be in Surwich/Tainted Forest, but it's a quick and easy run up to the main road towards the Red Reaches.

EDIT: You can UNPhase the place and turn in the quest. In 6.0.2, Zidormi (NPC) will allow you to switch between phased/low-level and Warlords/level-90+ versions of the Blasted Lands. Very useful when trying to find the Blasted Lands Candy Buckets! Her location is at 48.2, 7.2

(Old post) If you have started patch 6.02 and the area is now phased you can't turn it in anymore unless eventually it's unphased. You can see the ? but you can not see the quest giver. Maybe once this is unphased (if it ever does) you can turn this in. Till then... I could not find the NPC in Blasted Lands around where the ? was.

You can "go back in time" by talking to Zidormi near Blasted Lands and Swamp of sorrows. Then you can complete your quest or take the candy from the inn (Hallow's End)

If you takeOkrilla and the Blasted Lands or vise versa you will make the other quest not attainable. For example I picked up Okrilla and the Blasted Lands so I can no longer pick up Blasted Lands: The Other Side of the World. Keep in mind you can still do the Warchief's command board as well with one of these two just have to turn in the Command board one before picking up one of the other two

If you are level 100 and working on the quests of Blasted Lands, starting with this quest, I recommend starting with the phased portion of Blasted Lands. I didn't read the comments about the part where you can talk to the NPC Zimori, but I found a quest around 48.71,31.22 and that ended with Warning the War chief, where you kill the person where Okrilla should be. I thought this would phase out the invasion part, but it didn't. HOWEVER, it DID count as 16 quests towards the blasted lands quests, and a little extra gold since they are lvl 100 quests.

Thanks for the tips about Zimori in this thread. Hope this additional info helps someone else out there.

I am at Level 63 and I can't find a way to get there from Kalimdor. I searched at Google for Portals to the Blasted Lands but I can just find one to the Outlands and another one that is not clickable. At the spot where the portal should be there is just the portal trainer, no portal. I often read that you need to be level 90 to get the portal to the Blasted Lands, but I got this quest at Level 60 so there must be a way to get there. How?

Report to Okrilla at Dreadmaul Hold in the Blasted Lands.

Description

Now here's an interesting one. It says that members of the Horde should talk to Okrilla at Dreadmaul Hold.

Hmph! I didn't even know that the Horde held Dreadmaul Hold!

I guess this Okrilla requires help fighting some ogres and the Alliance. You'd think she'd already have her hands full with all the demons down there!
