You can find the cannon balls on the bottom of the reef right next to the ship. Fairly easy, only a few sharks watching out for them :-)

The boo-box is a reference to one of Captain Hook's punishments in the infamous movie Hook. They lock the punished in a treasure chest and insert scorpions into the box one-by-one.

Ugh. Apparently this questline isn't phased or anything. So anyone else can just kill "Pretty Boy" every time he spawns to prevent you from picking up or completing it. I just finished submitting a ticket to report a guy who is clearly botting (casting AoE exactly every 10 seconds whether the mob is up or not) and preventing me and several other people from doing this quest.
I recommended they phase it or something, because this really sucks.

You pick it up from the poor demoted Swabbie, then go dive off the ship. You will find sparkly cannonballs at the bottom of the ocean. Collect 6 and head back to the ship (to the same guy who gave the quest).

Yep, all pretty much covered.

(Find cannonballs south of the ship. Everything takes place at the southern tip of the Cape of Stranglethorn)

When I started this quest I had a good reputation with the bloodsail bucaneers, but when i went to turn it in my reputation had went from Friendly to Hated, so now i can't turn the quest in... Anybody have any idea how to fix that?

Even though i have the Piracy BUFF half way through the quest i logged out and now will not let me complete the quest and turning in after i completed it and now they con red. my wife never logged out and was able to complete quest. Any ideas? submitted a GM ticket and nothing was done, they put me back on the boat.

If you log out and log back in with the problem of the friendly buff not working, go to any unfriendly mob who will attack and (I went to mistvale and got the gorillas to attack me) After you revive, the buff will work again.

these are pretty hard to find. head due south from the ship, and hit the bottom at about 45 98.
they are patrolled by the sharks, so find them, you find the cannonballs. you can stay under them if you stick to the sea floor. Due to the distance between the piles, and searching, prob need an under-water breathing buff of some sort.

Description

Help out a fellow swabbie?

Keelhaul asked me to gather up some cannonballs at the bottom of the ocean. Let me tell you why this doesn't work for me.

- One: I have tiny arms. Look at them! Do you really think I can pick up a cannonball, even underwater?

- Two: I have a weak respiratory system. I start to white out after holding my breath for more than ten seconds.

- Three: There are sharks.

You gotta help me, <name>! I've been demoted as far as I can... I don't want to see what comes next!
