Since there are no Paladin or Death Knight versions of the quest chain that begins with The Rise of the Darkspear, none of the Echo Isles quests unlock for these two classes.

Here is part 1 of 2 (part 2 of 2) of the full storyline quest and broadcast text, played as a Nightborne Mage.

Storyline Overview:

Location: Darkspear Hold in Echo Isles

Tortunga

Vol'jin be callin' for an all out attack on da naga that have taken over our northern isle. Many of our men were already engaged with their forces near da bridge, but several of us are breakin' through their lines ta assault their isle itself.

Speak to Jornun right 'ere to secure a ride to da isle. Once there, seek out Morakki, da Captain of da Watch. He will be tellin' ya how ya can aid in da battle.

Jornun:

Just let me know when ya ready, mon.

Ya want to join the attack on the naga?

Player Character:

Yes. Do you have a raptor that can take me there?

Location: Spitescale Cavern in Echo Isles

Morakki:

Good to have ya, brotha.

Vol'jin makes us all proud in dese moments. It feels good ta be tacklin' threats head on.

Da naga have committed great atrocities on our people. Da time ta show dem mercy has long passed.

Enter da cave and kill any naga you find dere. Every naga dead dis day is one less naga ta take us unawares later on. I trust ya will be thorough.

Morakki:

Well fought, young <race>.

Dis is no casual counter-attack. We be fully intendin' ta slaughter every last naga here and do anything we can ta ensure that dey will have no desire ta return.

I want ya ta place dese fetishes on any Spitescale banner ya be findin' inside their cave. It should prove a clear statement of what we think of their presence here. More dan dat, da magic in dese fetishes will be weakenin' any Spitescale dat approach, which should make dem second guess stayin' on our isle.

Morakki:

Da Sea Witch is here, on top of dis very isle. We've been waitin' a long time for dis chance at revenge and ya will be havin' da privilege of seein' it through.

Vol'jin:

Ya were foolish to come 'ere, Sea Witch. Ya escaped our vengeance once, but the Darkspear Tribe will not abide ya trespassin' again.

You are weak Vol'jin, like your father was weak. Today I will finish what I started long ago - the Darkspear shall be wiped from existence!

Vanira:

Take care of her spirits! We be handlin' Zar'jira.

<She's drawing power from the fires! Stamp out the braziers, quickly!>

Zar'jira:

You were a fool to touch my fires! When Vol'jin falls, you know who dies next!

Zuni:

I'll get the fires dis time!

Zar'jira:

Not so fast, little troll!

Vanira:

ZUNI! NOOOO!

Vol'jin:

It be done. Our ancient enemy is defeated.

I been waitin' a long time for a chance to avenge my father. A great weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

I must be returnin' ta Darkspear Hold. Please meet me there once Vanira is done with her healin' of the boy.

Vanira:

I'm afraid there's nothin' I can do for our brother... her power tore away at his soul.

I'll send some watchers ta get his body so we can offer a proper farewell... I wish I could do more.

Vol'jin rushed off in eagerness, but I can take us back to safety. Just give me the word when ya ready, mon.

Storyline Overview:

Location: Darkspear Hold in Echo Isles

Vol'jin:

Tha power d'at burst forth when tha Sea Witch died was immense. I can use d'is power ta enact a vision of places far away.

Observe, youngblood. I want ya ta be here when I make contact wit' Thrall, perhaps it will be grantin' ya insight as well.

Tha Sea Witch is dead, our home is reclaimed, but our future still be uncertain.

I've no love for Garrosh, dat much is sure, but leavin' tha Horde is not a decision I be takin' lightly.

Dere's only one with tha answers I seek. Ya can stay and watch if ya like.

Vision of Thrall:

Vol'jin. It's good to see you, brother.

Vol'jin:

Thrall! I am glad ya be well. Dere were rumors otherwise.

Vision of Thrall:

Indeed. Someone did try to kill me, but that is not my greatest concern at this moment. The world itself calls for my aid.

Vol'jin:

I must beg ya council, my friend. I can't be standin' by Garrosh while he be turnin' our people against each other for tha sake of war. My respect for you does not extend to dis new Horde... I am tinkin' of leadin' my people away.

Vision of Thrall:

Vol'jin, I chose Garrosh because he has the strength to lead our people in these trying times.

For all my supposed wisdom, there have been moments that I've barely been able to hold the Horde together. The Wrath Gate and Undercity displayed that clearly enough.

The Horde cries for a hero of old. An orc of true blood that will bow to no human and bear no betrayal. A warrior that will make our people proud again. Garrosh can be that hero.

I did not make this decision lightly, Vol'jin. I know our alliances will suffer for it. I know the Horde will be irreversibly changed. But I made this choice with confidence that Garrosh is exactly what the Horde needs.

I'm trusting you and the other leaders to not let this divide our people. You are stronger than that.

Vol'jin:

I understand, brotha. I will tink on this and be troublin' ya no furtha. You have a world to be savin'.

Vision of Thrall:

Throm'ka, old friend.

Vol'jin:

Ya be strong and proud, youngblood. Tha Darkspear will be honored ta have you fight beside d'em.

Dese be dark times, but our people will be stayin' with tha Horde for tha good of all.

Thrall's words be true. Dey always be. The Horde is much more den a few old, stubborn leaders and a handful of heroes from Northrend. The people be cryin' Garrosh's name... at least for now.

Still, I be hopin' Thrall will return to us one day. Tha future right now be lookin' very grim... and very bloody.

Go now. Make tha Darkspear proud. Dere are many wars ahead of us, an' I'm sure ya be havin' a part to play in all of dem.

You've be doin' quite well for one so young. I've no doubts you'll be makin' quite da name for yarself.

Go now, northwest, across da shallows ta Sen'jin Village. Dere you'll be meetin' Master Gadrin. He'll likely have a task or two for ya before ya truly make ya way out into the Durotar wilds.
