Part of the Horde questline for the Wrath Gate event. This quest line is very long and spans the entire length of Dragonblight. Quite honestly, I consider this one of the most important quest lines (thus far) in Wrath. A must-do for any hordeling. :)

In quite a few of these chains there are optional prequests. I will not list these, despite them being in the quest series list, because they are just that: Optional. I will list the LATEST quest available that will start the chain, or the one most likely to pick up while completing other parts of this chain.

Additionally, these quests are Horde Only. I, unfortunately, do not have an Alliance character on the Beta, so I do not have access to any alliance quests. Sorry!

Step names are purely flavor. They generalize what that part of the chain leads up to/is about.

I highly urge everyone to read the quest text. This quest line is quite possibly one of the most epic in Warcraft history and is highly worth the time. Lore lovers and haters alike should enjoy them.

I'm really enjoying doing these quests, but some of the steps seem to run concurrently, I was working on Steps 2 and 3 together yesterday.
Sunsmoon's post is one of the best I've seen

When trying to do the wrathgate questchain as the above guide says, I couldnt find this quest. The NPC wouldn't give it to me. After doing All Hail Roanauk!, I was directed to do some quests at the Wyrmrest Temple. Once these were done, the last step was to turn in a quest in Vanguard. This is where the Wrathgate event started.

So, not everyon's quest chain will be as the guide above. Hope this helps. Sorry I couldn't be more specific, as I'm at work and dont have my notes in front of me. =)

You may have already done a quest in the chain at venomspite before now, so you cant pick up the quest at agmar. Just go to venomspite and start wherever you left off in the chain there.

OK guys, I had the same problem as everybody up there, but after 15 minutes of research, I realized the problem. I have already done this quest haha. I realized I'm on "Emerald Dragon Tears". Now look in your logs and see if you are on ANY of these in this chain. I know I did a quest called "The Forsaken Blight and You: how not to die".

Anyway, good luck to you guys. For the horde.

Like all breadcrumb quests; if you've already been to Venomspite prior to accepting this quest, then this quest will not be available to you.

It isn't necessary for completion to witness the Wrathgate event.

Travel to Venomspite in Dragonblight and speak with Chief Plaguebringer Middleton.

Description

The shipment from New Agamand was to arrive at Venomspite last week and then be delivered to me after some simple field tests. It is a Horde imperative - the last piece of the "victory puzzle."

<Sintar sighs.>

It is quite disheartening to know that you are surrounded by imbeciles and incompetent boobs!

You must travel to Venomspite, near the eastern border of Dragonblight. Find that buffoon, Middleton, and let him know that I am waiting on the package.
