They are on the left side in the air. They are trying to burn a building.You can see them when you go into the first quest zone. :)

Netting a flamespitter will cause it to fall to the ground, but won't tag it. That may be an issue if many people are attempting to do the quest. When I did it a fury warrior was tagging everyone's netted flamespitters as soon as they landed. I guess she didn't want to wait on the net's twenty second cooldown.

In any case, the nets are primarily a convenience for melee. If you're a ranged attacker you can forgo the nets and simply nuke them down. When they die their corpses fall to the ground, so you'll still be able to loot them.

If you zoom your camera all the way in so that you have a first-person perspective, you will find targeting these things much easier.

easy way is to just /macro then
/target scourged
/cast reinforced net

and your done. just remember you have to click the new macro twice. first time targets the mob, second time casts your net

If you're a subtlety rogue, you can shadowstep to them and ambush (or backstab) them in air, but you have to be fast, otherwise you'll miss while you are falling. Make sure that once you land that you cast the net or they will continue to strike you from above. If you attack one that is lower in the air, and you have safe fall you should be able to survive the fall

Don't forget the net! 68 hunter and I had just gotten to ye olde Tundra, didn't realize the quest giver had handed me a sweet net with which to catch me some fliers, up in the air the Flamespitters do a lot of damage. You have a net, use it.

Death Knights are able to Death Grip a few of the lower ones if you'd like to make this go a little quicker and you are a DK.

don't get up on the scaffolding ( you can throw the net on them and see them fall, but to no avail ). Instead go down to the beach around , look up and cast the net at the nearest airbeasts. You've got a decent range. Once they hit the deck, attack and kill; loot.

Stupid 20 second cd on the net. If your a warrior you can't attack them until they are at ground level. So just wait it out or kill the other Crypt Crawlers while you wait. I wouldn't recommend even trying to "tag" them while they are in the air.

for warlocks, you can just use your spells on the closer ones, and save the time that you have to wait for the net to be ready to use again.

Description

We're doing a good job of holding the front lines against these bugs. Some of these cheeky fiends, however, can fly over the aforementioned front lines and are really beating down on our inner defenses.

I've requisitioned reinforced fishing nets from our civilian ships. If you've got a good enough throwing arm, they'll help you knock the enemy out of the sky. Thin their numbers so that our defenses can hold the keep.
