There is an extra quest afterward in the courtyard not mentioned in the article. I assume it is for Sylvanas Loyalists. I won't go into detail so as not to spoil it but I found it to be emasculating and somewhat disappointing.
Why is Calia still a character?
I know this is a weird take away from the questline but.....Did blizzard use this questline to strip the alliance of Fenris isle and give it to the forsaken, because it was alliance since cataclysm
Far more fun than the Nelf questline!
I feel like the Forsaken quest chain did a great job showing off various actual parts of the Forsaken, beyond being a showcase and fan service to only Sylvanas. It was a delight to see organizations such as the Royal Apothecary Society, Dark Rangers, and Deathstalkers to be seen in functional action with their individual leadership given screentime. While the story was as some might say conservative, it played well to established canon lore and went back to a very traditional threat that also deserves some recognition. There is of course the fitting Sylvanas tribute at the end, and tabard option. In all I am really happy with the quest. It felt like this quest chain really focused on the Forsaken as a people - not as a shallow fan service to Sylvanas. Also - really loved that it was made very clear that Lordaeron belongs to the Forsaken.
Ok i'm confused, I just want the heritage set and idc if it's 1 click away like with allied races or a small questline like for the rest, 0 interest in lore tooDo I have to do the dark ranger questline AGAIN on a non-hunter undead character? also is exalted really required again?I mean they add something nice and then they ruin it with confusing chores and spaghetti questlines, retail WoW in a nutshell but w/e
why do i have to be exalted with forsaken to do the quest but not with night elves for theirs?
I am totally baffled by this quest. First off, I had a level 60 undead that was at Revered reputation. When I finished I was still Revered, so Exalted is NOT necessary here. I couldn't find Calia in Orgrimmar, but I had the intro quest in front of the war chief room to start Shadowlands. So I went ahead and did that, it ported me to Oribos and somehow I was presented something I haven't seen since Dragonflight began: I had the option of Threads of Fate or Full Story. I just chose Threads of Fate, went to the main room in Oribos and Calia was there. I literally just did the same quest that was available at the end of Shadowlands (completed it on another character that is my main). I went through the full quest thinking this would set me up to launch the heritage quest....but the whole thing was just the same quest as before (unless I am incorrect in my memory, but this was doing everything from setting up the meeting with the various Forsaken leaders, to going to Maldraxxus for info on the plague, all the wan to storming the island that had Scarlet Crusaders on it)? When I returned to the ruins of Lordaeron and completed it I saw my inventory had the transmog set. So I guess they just recycled the old quest from the Shadowlands epilogue? Am I missing something here? What was added?
So, about Delaryn....?
Scarlet crusade again? Enough.
Caelia (with quest) is just outside Grommosh Hold in Org to start that questline to take Lordaeron back so you shouldn't be screwed if you did Threads of Fate when it was avail.
Why are there flying undercity guards in UC at the ending of Heritage Quest line?
