OK I admit when it comes to Dwarf lore I pretty much have ADD when it comes that stuff. So whats the deal with the Wildhammer Fact checker anyway? I know he was made based on that Red shirt guy at Blizzcon. What exactly did he say or do to get a NPC made after him?

He called Chris Metzen and the other guy on a piece of lore between the books and game that was completely inconsistent in front of a huge crowd at the Lore Q & A at BlizzCon.
Have you seen the video? He brought up a contradiction between the lore and the actual game. It's been a while, but I think the gist of it was that in Christie Golden's new book, "The Shattering, Prelude to Cataclysm", Falstad Wildhammer was going to be on the Council of Three Hammers, but in the Cataclysm beta it's Kirdren Wildhammer (Not sure how that's spelled or pronounced, just going with what I heard) and Falstad isn't in the game at all. This was a contradiction missed by the bigwigs of WoW and the fact that something like this went unnoticed and was pointed out like that granted him internet stardom. So now this NPC will stand by Falstad Wildhammer in Ironforge to show the correction and in honor of Red Shirt Guy.
Still no new Gem Bag? Did Blizzard forgot all the Jewelcrafters? :/
