If you do enough damage, you can still time your keys. You just have this problem where you have to sort out people applying and take RNG guesses who knows the class and got bought their score.
People forget its tuned for 2 legendaries+tier sets. Also its only first week of the season meaning people are under geared. This scaling makes total sense.
After the first round of nerfs to Streets of Wonder it became possible to time, and it's since received a second round of nerfs. It will likely get a third, since it's still probably the hardest to time.However, the original dungeons were able to be timed just fine.
Almost certainly because when people get 4 set and 2 legos, they will get roughly a 30% dps increase - depending on spec the tier set and lego is roughly in the 10-15% range each. Also why some of the raid bosses seem really tough in terms of tuning, stuff is just balanced around the gear people are getting in some weeks time. Imo the smart play was to give people 2 legos from the start of the patch, then let the tier set naturally buff players over a period of weeks. In any case what theyve done has meant these couple weeks will feel far rougher than they probably should, and it will be hilarious to see how some high keys and raid bosses will just fall over when people get both 2 lego and tier.
What do you mean large chunk of people? Lol. As long as you do Zereth daily and campaigns, you get a tier set GUARANTEED thru catalyst. Its literally 3 quests. No grinding required. If you are complaining about "oh Im forced to do something i dont like" too bad its MMO. Also there's a chance to obtain one in weekly vault. Yes I dont like timegating part but at least there's no grinding.
Is this a valid excuse as to why my 15 Streets took 2 hours and 3 minutes
