I found him at 42,43. To get to him, you need to stay on the higher mountains around the ruins. Don't go into the ruins because he's on the outer edge, in an elevated spot.

Got it on 3 mobs too..its the lvl 52 that drops it, not the 53.

JohnJSal is correct. dont make that drop to the ruins, instead stray to the north and stay on higher land. DO NOT FALLOW THE ROAD.

I believe you need to be a Hunter to get to talk to him. But I think you can get the quests from someone sharing them.

The hunter trainer Ulfir Ironbeard in stormwind gives out this quest too. I just picked it up from him.

How strange that two NPC's are giving out the quest, or are they? Could this be changing with time and release? I don't have a clue but I just got the quest from hunter trainer Olmin Burningbeard in Iron Forge.

It makes me wonder if anything else is new. BTW this is an Alliance quest in Iron Forge but that sort of goes without mention other than it was pointed out early on where to get a Horde quest.

I recommend going around the ruins on the west side (the left) by way of the flatter plains. Beware of the Tibereweb recluse spiders. (But seing spiders means your getting close.) Ogtinc is way out on a cliff that has a tall tree on it. He is across the gorge from the Temple of Zin-Malor. Looking at the map he is North above the temple and slightly to the right. Look for the land that forms a rounded pennisula. Go completely around the ruins to the west until you are well above the Temple and then head back toward the cliffs. He is at the lerft side edge of the pennisula shaped land over looking the beach below. hope my description helps

Hunter quests should deal with tracking down, watching, beating and researching some of the more special pet families like ravagers and other exotic (not classified as exotic, i mean extraordinary) animals, and letting you tame them. Just like druids get their forms. Not this kind of stupid quest to farm low droprate animal limbs...

I had this quest to speak to him like 3 years ago and i could not freaken find him anywhere lol. Now i read comments after that long and he's there?that just stinks.

Descrição

Ogtinc of Azshara has sent out a call for seasoned hunters such as yourself. He is a furbolg hunter who has left his tribe to aid the Cenarion Circle. His teachings are meant to enrich the wisdom of others who share his craft, and guide them toward maintaining a balance. You would do well to speak with him.

Ogtinc resides atop the cliffs of Azshara, northeast from the Ruins of Eldarath.
