I also never saw this quest until they added the handy new feature that shows quests givers on the minimap. Having leveled 3 toons here so far, I must have run by this place dozens of times! This is easy and well worth the 10200 xp at lv 60.

Is there a required level for this quest? If not it could be an important twink option.

It's repeatable, in that you can keep getting the key and opening the outhouse door to summon the farmer, not that you can score 5000 shotguns and wedding rings.

Do you get experience each time you do it? In that case dinging in WPL is WAY easy :)

The interaction has been fixed, I can confirm because after GM contacted me, I went and finished the quest.

I did this today (21th August 08) with my alt rogue lvl 56... and indeed its worth doing. For rogues its like free xp since the only hard part is cleaning the room where the book is (that is unless you got flash powder ofc...) and i got the key for the first key on first kill so my guess would be its quite high drop chance.. then just kill the mob that spawns and loot him, stealth for the wadrobe and there you go... free xp and 3 g (if you choose to sell rewards like I did). If you are rogue, do it!

lol looks like the farmer did the opposite of what h had to do... u gotta prepear before the zombie attack begins! thats all the meaning of the "Zombie Plan", he did that, or maybe he wanted to hide the ring but put the shotgun layingthere for some reason, and then he "Do'h!"

I feel a little sad when I do these kinds of quests where a family/-member has become undead/died because of the Scourge. Like this quest and the Darrowshire series. :(

The book in the Dalson house leads to the outhouse and killing of Farmer Dalson and gaining a key that leads you back to the other house and opening up of the locked cheast. Loremaster quest gained as quest is completed.
