In-Game Lore Summary
Your weyrn, the Obsidian Warders, led by Scalecommander Azurathel, followed Wrathion to the Eastern Kingdoms. It is your duty to warn the members of the Alliance about the coming storm.
Despite the cold reception, Wrathion doesn't seem at all worried. (
Conexões dracônicas
)
Wrathion
Ordinarily such a flight would take considerably longer. But when the bronze Aspect himself speeds you on your way, it allows one to make the journey in record...
<ahem> ...time.
Oh, the soldiers with the pointy weapons? Not to worry. Merely a formality.
I shall see about arranging an audience with the Lord Commander while you and Azurathel get your bearings.
Thankfully, I wield considerable influence in this city.
Scalecommander Azurathel
Perhaps Wrathion's "influence" isn't as considerable as he thinks, if this is the welcome he receives.
As leader of your weyrn, Azurathel will need to join Wrathion as he speaks with the Alliance leaders, but he asks you to scout out the city in the meantime. (

)
Scalecommander Azurathel
Perhaps we should get an idea of this city, if it is to be our new home. A scouting mission, if you will.
Go, see what this place has to offer. I will follow Wrathion and attempt to help in any way I can.
Try not to upset the locals any more than you must, though. I doubt many of them are used to seeing dragons walk among them.
Meet up with us once you've gotten the lay of the land.
At this point, Master Mathias Shaw arrives. He does not seem pleased to see Wrathion, but commands the guards to stand down.
Wrathion says: Soldiers of Stormwind, allow me to--
Master Mathias Shaw says: Wrathion! You were warned against making unannounced visits. Especially when you bring company.
Wrathion says: A thousand pardons, my dear spymaster, but I come bearing the tidings of the Dragon Aspects for Lord Commander Turalyon.
Wrathion says: As for the dracthyr, you have my word that they will cause no harm. They have come seeking refuge, not conflict.
Master Mathias Shaw says: Their conduct will be on your head, Wrathion. The dracthyr have my leave to roam the city. But know this... SI:7 will be watching.
Master Mathias Shaw says: Let them pass!
Wrathion says: Hmph. Mortals.
Obsidian Warder says: Let us see what this city holds for us.
Obsidian Warder says: After that long flight, I need food. Something more filling than our dusty rations from the Reach.
As you explore the city, many of Stormwind's citizens and guards have
comments for you
. Your fellow Obsidian Warder dracthyr also make some observations as you come across them. You visit Stormwind's Bank,
Obsidian Warder says: Everyone loves a good hoard.
Scott Westmill says: Hey! This is Alliance territory! No Horde allowed!
Stormwind's Auction House,
Obsidian Warder says: I bid twelve gold! No, fifteen!
Obsidian Warder says: But... I was going to buy that!
Stormwind's Portal Room,
Obsidian Warder says: These portals reek of blue dragonflight magic.
And Stormwind's Embassy.
Obsidian Warder says: It seems we are not the only recent arrivals here.
Scalecommander Azurathel
The Alliance has granted us asylum here in Stormwind.
It sounds like quite an interesting place.
You meet up again with Wrathion and Azurathel. Azurathel seems slightly concerned about the Alliance's leader.
Scalecommander Azurathel:
Ah, <name>. I hope your exploration of this city has been fruitful.
I have been speaking with this Turalyon. He seems a capable leader and soldier, but he is a zealot. And one must be cautious of zealots.
It is too soon to know if the Alliance will prove worthy of our trust. But it seems we share a common foe, and perhaps through battle we will forge a bond between us.
You can also speak with High Exarch Turalyon himself.
High Exarch Turalyon:
The Aspects have been steadfast allies to Stormwind in the paast.
But enemies have arisen from among the dragons as well. Enemies that nearly destroyed this world.
We must be cautious.
Wrathion tells you Lord Commander Turalyon has agreed to send Alliance representatives to the Dragon Isles.
Convite aspectivo
Ah, <name>. I trust your tour of the city went well.
No one threw any fruit at you, did they? I am told that happens sometimes.
At any rate, I just finished meeting with Lord Commander Turalyon and his allies, and they have accepted the Aspects' invitation to the Dragon Isles.
Preparations are underway for a journey to your homeland.
Ah, but where are my manners? We should have a chat with the others.
<Listen to Wrathion and Turalyon.>
There is much more to the Dragon Isles beyond the Forbidden Reach. I cannot wait for you to see it!
Now then, I believe that diminutive archeologist said something about putting together an expedition.
Any dragon who spends time among mortals needs a visage form. (

)
You turned every head in Stormwind with your arrival, <name>. No doubt some citizens were more... amenable to your presence than others.
In order to better commune with other races, we dragons adopt a mortal visage, like the one you see before you. Not only does it put allies at ease, but it makes passing through doorways considerably less disruptive.
Clearly the essence of dragonkind flows through the dracthyr. I suspect you may share our ability to assume a visage.
Walk with me.
Choosing a visage is an important decision for any dragon.
It should be no less meaningful to a dracthyr.
Needless to say, I am happy to share my expertise.
<Ask about choosing a visage.>
Wrathion says: A visage is an expression of how you want to be seen by others. Will you be friendly and approachable, or stern and intimidating?
Certain of my kin chose the latter. As for myself, I settled on dashing and perilously handsome.
The magic is within you. Look inside and focus on a form that reflects how you want the world to see you.
Your visage suits you well, <name>. It is unl;ike any I have seen before!
Perhaps when we learn more of your origins, we will understand why the dracthyr visage differs from that of a dragon.
But for now, we have an expedition to prepare for.
