If you bring him to the door where Taoshi is, whenever he casts capture or deadly kick, he will face the opposite way. On my warrior, I stood inside the doorway. Each time he used those abilities, he turned and faced the cavern.

Druids of any spec can simply shapeshift out of his ability that chains you, which is intended to be broken by running away (at decreased movement speed).

Rediculously hard for my shadow priest! Kept rezzing and retrying many times. There's no way I can even come close to beating the Slavemaster. Try to get distance from chains or get out of his earthquake-like attack and he locks you from moving, and then lays in his kick! He throws too many killer moves on you that it just doesn't seem possible. Came back the next day after upgrading as much as I could afford and found you have to rerun the whole scenario when you return. I just can't believe this is a solo scenario! Any clues from those who managed it would be most welcome!

Did this guy on a prot war with ilevel 452. Took 8 minutes.

Cleared out the areas to make a loop around the cavern. Then just kited him around, going back and forth up the two ramps leading to his room. Charged in after he did his capture/kick thing hit him a few times, made sure to refresh the dot then ran away up a ramp.

The slowing chains do 6k per tick and that's really the only damage I took. Used heroic leap when I was caught in the slowing chains and was in danger of getting frozen/kicked. Death from Above Glyph helped.

Tried to keep 30-40 yards between him and me. If you're out of range from him when he tries to put the three chains on you, you won't get caught by them. This might also happen when you're out of LoS too.

I kited him to the entrance to the cave, when he started to cast he would turn towards the cave. Took about 3-5 min to take him down. just kited him out into the courtyard and finished him off.

I was able to kill Shiaxu but Taoshi would not open the door :-(

Wow I left the instance to start again and discovered it completed without Taoshi opening the door!

Undergeared guardian druid, after two quick deaths already frustrated ... then I read about druids being able to shapeshift out of the shackles and decided to give that a try.

By chance I happened to end up between him and the pond with my back to the water, and he always turned away from me to cast the kick - I didn't have to move once. Shapeshifted out of the shackles nevertheless, but I guess that wouldn't even have been necessary.

Just got done with this guy. Instead of trying to kite and do hit an runs, I put my DK in Blood presence and held up right under him. could move out of the way of his kick, stay close and heel easily, and didn't even worry about the chains. Dead in a couple minutes.

Shadow Priest - After the 4th death I used the google machine. There's many strategies, this seems the easiest and quickest, at least for me. Stood right on him and just dps. You're able to move whatever direction you need to be out of the way. He stays facing the same direction once he starts his attack cycle. I think the chains do a decent amount of damage if you can't break from them, but I was able to just renew and luckily have Lifeblood. I don't do a ton of dps at the moment and still had him down in only a few minutes.
