This fight is bugged in follower dungeons for Healers/DPS because the NPC tank will pull the boss too far away and it despawns. I recommend using group finder or waiting for the fix to get the decor item from this dungeon.

After a couple tries as a tank in the follower dungeon I stopped caring about adds and just focused on keeping him in the center and it stopped bugging

As noted currently Follower bots tend to reset the boss by jumping outside of the area. I guess it was not tested much.

I found all the comments previously submitted to be true. I was using the follower dungeon option as a tank. I had 3 failures where I got the boss down to about 25% health. I came to this location looking for help. I took everyone's advice (thanks to all) and succeeded on my 4th attempt. I drew aggro from the boss every time my aggro timer came up AND kept focus on only the boss throughout the fight. I completely ignored the adds.

In a follower dungeon after taking a long tome to get to about 1%, it despawned. But it reappeared 20 seconds later with much lower health. I took over tanking and DPS'd it down quite quick.

Overview – Ziekket will periodically [Awaken the Lightbloom], sprouting Lightspawn Lashers from the earth and awakening any [Dormant] ones.
Surging with the Light's power, Ziekket projects a [Concentrated Lightbeam] at players that annihilates flora and fauna alike.
- Damage Dealers –
  [Concentrated Lightbeam] vaporizes [Dormant] Lightspawn Lashers into [Lightsap].
  Touching globules of [Lightbloom's Essence] inflicts Holy damage while increasing damage and healing done.
- Healers –
  [Lightbloom's Essence] inflicts Holy damage to players, but increases damage and healing done.
  [Oozing Xylem] continually inflicts Holy damage to all players.
- Tank –
  [Thornspike] impales Ziekket's current target.
  [Awaken the Lightbloom] summons a thicket of vicious Lightspawn Lashers.
Awaken the Lightbloom – Ziekket sows Light energy into the soil, sprouting Lightspawn Lashers and reawakening any that are Dormant.
Lashers reawaken with Vicious Regrowth.
- Lightspawn Lasher
  - Lightspore Shot – The lasher spews at a player, inflicting 30507 Holy damage.
  - Dormant – Upon reaching 1% remaining health, Lightspawn Lashers submerge themselves back into the ground, becoming unable to move and immune to player effects.
  - Vicious Regrowth – Lightspawn Lashers reawaken with renewed power, increasing their haste and damage done by 30%. This effect also makes them immune to interrupts and crowd controlling effects.
Concentrated Lightbeam – Ziekket releases a powerful beam of Light energy, inflicting 5 Holy damage every 0.5 sec to players within the effect.
Any Dormant Lightspawn Lashers hit by the beam are instantly liquified into puddles of Lightsap.
- Lightsap – Viscous resin covers the ground, inflicting 16 Holy damage every 2 sec to players standing within the effect and reducing their movement speed by 40%.
Lightbloom's Essence – Ziekket draws out globules of Lightbloom energy from the earth that move toward him, triggering a Fluorescent Outburst upon reaching him.
The orbs instead burst when touched by players, granting that player Lightbloom's Might.
- Fluorescent Outburst – Ziekket absorbs the Lightbloom's Essence, triggering a powerful reaction that inflicts 50845 Holy damage to all players. This effect grants Ziekket a Fluorescent Shield.
  - Fluorescent Shield – Ziekket becomes enveloped in Light energy, absorbing the next 52437 damage taken and increasing his damage done by 10%. This effect stacks.
- Lightbloom's Might – Players briefly borrow the power of the Lightbloom, increasing damage and healing done by 10% while suffering 10169 Holy damage every 1 sec for 12 sec. This effect stacks.
Thornspike – Ziekket impales the player with his spiked branch, inflicting 101690 Holy damage and knocking them back. The puncture wound causes the player to bleed an additional 6 Physical damage every 1 sec for 10 sec.
Oozing Xylem – Ziekket gorges on Light energy, inflicting 30507 Holy damage to all players every 3 sec.
