Skipping Bosses in Vault of the Incarnates in Dragonflight:

Picking up the quest Vault of the Incarnates: Break a Few Eggs in Vault of the Incarnates allows you to collect 3x Shard of the Greatstaff from the second last boss Broodkeeper Diurna.
Upon defeating her three times and completing the quest you will be able to skip to her encounter after defeating Terros on subsequent raid runs.
This quest and skip is specific to the difficulty on which it is acquired. The quest will need to be completed on Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties in order to earn the skip for each difficulty.

You just can earn 1x Shard of the Greatstaff per week in each difficulty.

Overview – Broodkeeper Diurna gains storm energy as the battle ensues, defending the Primalist Clutch with primal elements and calling upon Primalist Reinforcements. At 100 storm energy she casts [Rapid Incubation] on the Primalist eggs, expediting the growth of the dragon inside. Players incurring [Greatstaff's Wrath] and [Empowered Greatstaff's Wrath] can break these eggs, else lieutenants from each Primal element's eggs join the battle.
Upon gaining [Broodkeeper's Fury], Diurna lashes out harnessing the primal elements with enhanced skill.
- Tanks –
  [Rapid Incubation] marks future egg targets as Diurna moves about The Clutchwarren.
  [Mortal Stoneclaws] inflicts high damage and reduces healing recieved, and [Broodkeeper's Fury] increases the duration of the healing reduction.
  Primalist Reinforcements should be engaged quickly as to prevent them from healing, increasing damage done, and reducing damage taken from Diurna's [Broodkeeper's Bond].

Stage One: The Primalist Clutch

- Broodkeeper's Bond – The Broodkeeper's diligent care links her life essence to the unhatched eggs, preventing all damage below 2% remaining health. This effect stacks for each intact egg in the room.
  Additionally, this aura increases the damage done of nearby allies by 25%, decreases damage taken by 25%, and heals 2% of their total health every second for 5 sec. This effect stacks.
- Greatstaff of the Broodkeeper – The Broodkeeper embeds her greatstaff nearby, inflicting 18226 Nature damage to players within 50 yards every 1.5 sec for 9 sec.
  Additionally, Diurna immediately gains 3 applications of Greatstaff's Wrath.
  - Greatstaff's Wrath – Increases Greatstaff of the Broodkeeper's damage done by 10%. This effect stacks.
    Players may cast Focus Greatstaff while near the embedded weapon, consuming one application of Greatstaff's Wrath and causing a beam to pursue the player.
