Overview – The Primal Council works together to wipe out players with elemental attacks. When brought to low health, council members begin channeling their Convocation spell until all members of the council are defeated.
The elemental magics of the Primal Council's abilities can interact with each other in different ways to both advantage and detriments.
- Tanks –
  [Slashing Blaze] inflicts high Fire damage to players in front of Embar.
  [Crush] massively increases Physical damage taken.
- Damage Dealers –
  [Conductive Mark] spreads to nearby players.
  [Meteor Axes] will destroy any [Earthen Pillar] they hit.
  Touching [Scorched Ground] removes applications of [Primal Blizzard].
- Healers –
  [Meteor Axes] split damage evenly amongst players hit and destroy [Earthen Pillars].
  [Primal Blizzard] inflicts heavy damage to all players and can trap them in [Frost Tombs].
Kadros Icewrath
- Primal Blizzard – Upon reaching 100 energy, Kadros channels a freezing storm for 10 sec. The chill inflicts 7066 Frost damage every 1 sec., increasing Frost damage taken by 10% and reducing Fire damage taken by 10% for 15 sec. This effect stacks. Scorched Ground removes this effect.
  Upon reaching 10 applications, players are trapped in a Frost Tomb.
  - Frost Tomb – The player is overcome by the Primal Blizzard, and is trapped in a tomb of ice that inflicts 35344 Frost damage and an additional 15905 Frost damage every 1 sec. until freed.
- Primal Blizzard – Upon reaching 100 energy, Kadros channels a freezing storm for 10 sec. The chill inflicts 7066 Frost damage every 1 sec., increasing Frost damage taken by 10% and reducing Fire damage taken by 10% for 15 sec. This effect stacks. Scorched Ground removes this effect.
  Upon reaching 10 applications, players are trapped in a Frost Tomb.
  On Mythic difficulty, [Scorched Ground] is consumed when it's used to remove Primal Blizzard.
  - Frost Tomb – The player is overcome by the Primal Blizzard, and is trapped in a tomb of ice that inflicts 35344 Frost damage and an additional 15905 Frost damage every 1 sec. until freed.
- Frost Spike – Kadros propels a spike of ice at a random player, inflicting 70663 Frost damage.
- Glacial Convocation – Upon defeat, Kadros convokes the plane of ice, inflicting 70663 Frost damage to all players every 6 sec. This damage increases over time.
  Kadros channels until all members of the Primal Council are defeated.
Dathea Stormlash
- Conductive Mark – Dathea marks the player with lightning, inflicting 70663 Nature damage on impact and an additional 31798 Nature damage every 5.2 sec foruntil canceled. Increases Nature damage taken by 8% for each application. This effect stacks.
  If an affected player comes within 5 yards of another player, the mark will duplicate to that target. Moving within 5 yards of an [Earthen Pillar] harmlessly removes the mark.
- Conductive Mark – Dathea marks the player with lightning, inflicting 70663 Nature damage on impact and an additional 31798 Nature damage every 5.2 sec. Increases Nature damage taken by 8% for each application. This effect stacks.
  If an affected player comes within 5 yards of another player, the mark will duplicate to that target. Moving within 5 yards of an [Earthen Pillar] harmlessly removes the mark.
  On Mythic difficulty, Conductive Mark does not expire.
- Lightning Bolt – Dathea hurls lightning at a random player, inflicting 70663 Nature damage.
- Chain Lightning – A bolt of lightning strikes a random player, inflicting 35331 Nature damage and then jumping to nearby players.
- Storming Convocation – Upon defeat, Dathea convokes the plane of storms, inflicting 70663 Nature damage to all players every 6 sec. This damage increases over time.
  Dathea channels until all members of the Primal Council are defeated.
Opalfang
- Earthen Pillar – Opalfang erupts pillars of rock from the earth at locations of several players, inflicting 176657 Nature damage to players within 6 yards and knocking them back.
  On this difficulty, Earthen Pillars erupt with Quaking Pulse.
  - Quaking Pulse – Earthen Pillars send out shockwaves, inflicting 3533 Nature damage every 2 sec. to all players.
- Earthen Pillar – Opalfang erupts pillars of rock from the earth at locations of several players, inflicting (154.8% of Spell power) Nature damage to players within 0 yards and knocking them back.
  On Heroic difficulty, Earthen Pillars erupt with [Quaking Pulse].
  - Quaking Pulse – Earthen Pillars send out shockwaves, inflicting 3533 Nature damage every 2 sec. to all players.
- Crush – Opalfang crushes her current target, inflicting 353313 Physical damage and increasing all Physical damage taken by 100%. This effect stacks.
- Quaking Convocation – Opalfang convokes primal earth, releasing forceful blasts of earthen magic that inflict 105994 Nature damage to all players every 6 sec. This damage increases over time.
  Opalfang channels until all members of the Primal Council are defeated.
Embar Firepath
- Meteor Axes – Embar targets two players and hurls conjured fire axes at them, inflicting 1059940 Fire damage split between all targets within 10 yards. Leaves behind [Scorched Ground] on impact for 10 min.
  - Scorched Ground – The impact of Embar's [Meteor Axes] scorches the ground for 10 min, inflicting 105994 Fire damage every 2 sec. to players who stand in the area.
    The heat dispels [Primal Blizzard].
- Meteor Axes – Embar targets two players and hurls conjured fire axes at them, inflicting 1059940 Fire damage split between all targets within 10 yards, and increases damage taken from Meteor Axes by 300% for 15 sec. Leaves behind [Scorched Ground] on impact for 10 min.
  On Heroic difficulty, Meteor Axes increase damage taken from subsequent impacts for 15 sec.
  - Scorched Ground – The impact of Embar's [Meteor Axes] scorches the ground for 10 min, inflicting 105994 Fire damage every 2 sec. to players who stand in the area.
    The heat dispels [Primal Blizzard].
- Meteor Axes – Embar targets two players and hurls conjured fire axes at them, inflicting 1059940 Fire damage split between all targets within 10 yards, and increases damage taken from Meteor Axes by 300% for 15 sec. Leaves behind [Scorched Ground] on impact for 10 min.
