Blizzard, in their infinite wisdom (thick with sarcasm) has once again deemed that only a certain amount of players can down this thing and get credit for it. I, having the quest and got to this point as five other players were already attacking him, joined in the fight as he was roughly 75% health. I helped take him down. *I* did NOT get credit for the kill and had to wait for re-spawn and take him out again.

I somewhat understand why opposite factions can't get credit for kills the other faction initiated (again thick with sarcasm - because we're NOT fighting each other but once again assisting a common ally in the pursuit of defending AZEROTH. You know the Jailer wanting to destroy Azeroth and all.) What I don't understand in the slightest is why six Horde players attacking a quest mob with the sixth Horde player joining the fight early on, why ONLY the first five get kill credit. I've come upon another player, sometimes two or three, attacking a mob and assist them in killing it, even when I've gotten there in time for a single hit on the mob, getting kill credit and able to loot it.

And, apparently it depends on the mob, I've come up to elites with eight or nine players fighting it, joining the fight and getting kill credit and looting it. Why should it matter if more than five players are attacking these things? So it makes it easier, isn't that what groups are for?

If we help kill the mob, we should get kill credit and loot reward for the kill. Most of the time when I join in, it's because of two scenarios. A. I'm on the same quest and need to kill the mob myself. B. I see a player in trouble, I stop and assist them. I know many players do the same thing as I've seen them do it. It just boggles my mind as to why Blizz thinks it's ok to punish someone just because they happen to be the sixth player to get a hit in on the mob or that they're not in the group with the first player hitting it. That has happened to me I can't tell you how many times. Second person to hit it, and it's already greyed out, (all Horde players in the fight, no cross faction action there.)
