There are hardly any big changes to mechanics unless you are playing Season of Discovery. That's why you get push back about these "World First" posts.

This race wasn't about who could do it, it was literally a race to see who can do it fastest, and let's be fair, 12 minutes is pretty ridiculously fast. Maybe it's true that every single retail player complaining about this could waltz in here and 1 shot the raid because it's just an irrelevant re-release - but could you do it in 12 minutes?

Halion is a glorified trash mob by modern design standards, even on heroic difficulty. Just zone in and kill him, simple as that. The instance only took 12 minutes because you're forced to take down the three lieutenants first before Halion becomes active.

But to be fair, Halion wasn't particularly difficult even back in 2010. Part of the intent of the raid was to give players a bit of 'easy' gear to help them out in ICC.Comment by ApolypticaWotLK and WotLK Classic are technically the same game.
