For /ponder in Amirdrassil it is not within the raid but in the emerald dream zone quest hub
I tried to do the stasis sand one yesterday but it didn't work for me. Tried both the normal and the alternative timeline, so it could be in the dungeon
Pet battle at Silithus should be done in the "Timewalking" mode where you talk to Zoridormi.
Spent about an hour or two in Warmode in Emerald Dream (zone) and was finished with the log before I exited the zone. This stuff really is a no brainer.
If people are interested in completing the bar ASAP rather than having it complete slowly by normal playing over the month, here is how I did it very quickly this morning:5 pet battle in silithus for 100 points 5 pet battle in emerald dream for 100 points15 pet battle (of which I'd already done 10 for the two above so only 5 more) for 200 more points (you can one shot level 1 pets in front of SW or Org).Legacy World Quests count as WQ obviously but also as "quests in a party" if you are in a temporary "looking for group" private party so I got 200 more points by combining the two and doing 15 ultra easy old WQ in a fake party.Then a Pvp world quest in the Dragon Isles, they are possible without needing to fight players for 100 points, then a dragon isles world boss, 100 points.This is 800 very quickly and easily by combining objectives and also doing quick ones that are worth 100 each. Only 200 remaining that is possible to do through any other means that awards less points. It turns out I already got 100 for free for a questline I already did, and I hadn't done a few story quests that I intentionally left for later so I just did these and got to the 1000 total quicker than I ever did in other months.EDIT: Also, killing rares count as doing one quest, so it is an easy way to snatch a few "free quests" along the way.
create a free account, group with your free account, and open some Christmas presents on your other alts. Keep doing this until you max on that one. Then, go do some pet battles while gathering herbs, skins or ore. You'll get pretty much the whole month done all at once. If you have an alt that already did the little dragon daycare thing, log onto them and you'll get credit for it automatically as well.
The two Bronze flight story tasks were auto completed as soon as I logged in on my first level 70 character.Procrastination paid off for me. I had forgotten about getting the Christmas gifts on most of my characters until yesterday. Just by collecting the gifts I was able to knock out the 10, the 25, and the 50 quests tasks. Then I did the three pet battle tasks and I was complete for the month.

If you still do old raids for transmog or mounts you get the kill raid bosses tasks really easily (for me BWL, ICC, Ulduar).This time we have 2 very specific pet battle tasks (Silithus and Emerald Dream), pet battles were always an easy way to get fast progress. (just demolish level 1 battles with level 25 pets).The remaining progress I simply did some dragonriding world quests (Was going to do those anyway) to get the first task completed for that, and leveled a new pandaren character until I got the achievement popped up.
Just play the game, will eventually get in within a week or two at most. Twiddle your thumbs for the rest of the month! 😁
I waited until 10.1 and sales to pick up dragonflight, and without the expansion it did require a bit of planning to complete the log each month since a lot of activities were unavailable. Now I finish the log for the month within day 1 or 2 just by doing my normal gameplay routine, I don't even bother to open the log and look at the tasks anymore. The point of all that being, I really wish they would add something beyond the 1000 monthly points bar to incentivise us to actually go out and try and earn these. A region wide progress bar with some dreamsurge style buffs could be really fun and low pressure way to make it worth opening the travelers log and looking for things to do.
I’d actually like it to take longer to fill up the bar. I played 3-4 hours last night and an hour today and already done on the 2nd of the month. It would be more fun to actually need to look through and target certain tasks, rather than just ignore them and still complete the bar in a few hours just doing the zone weeklies. Would feel a little more like achievements/quests… super easy achievements/quests… but at least something. They could cut in half the points awarded for all activities and it would still be super fast to complete. And they would still have the catchup tasks at the end of the month for those who can barely play the game, so I don’t really see a downside.
Took me about 3hrs to finish this months trading post, would have been shorter but I was alt tabbed a lot ..
Anyone know what The Final Surge is. 3 TP activities linked to it for the final week of January 2024. Are Dreamsurges coming to an end?
