Honest question and not a critique; What's the point of the 8.2 demo? Is it different from the PTR that we can all access right now - other than having no addons or I assume your characters?
The classic area could be the rouse for 11.0 alpha. Just a thought out there xD
Imagine playing the demo for something that's been in the PTR for months and is going live in 5 days. Oh, the excitement!
There is a retails chain that gave you 5% of your purchase back as a coupon for your next purchase--printed at the bottom of your receipt. Then Covid hit, and they cut back, reduced it to 3%. Then the war in Ukraine and some economic crisis hit and they reduced it to 2%. Finally, they felt like so embarrassed that they just completely removed this end-of-receipt coupon.This is what came to mind looking at the 10.2 demo. It's the level of self-embarrassment that I as a company with high standards wouldn't allow myself to suffer; would've been better to just not provide any demo for retail WoW at all. IMHO

The Demo's probably going to be changed after the opening ceremony, they dont want us to see the actual demos before the announcement.
The classic ones seem to be vanilla login screens, maybe there will be another classic era thingy?
