Is it an elemental? YesIs it a NEW elemental skin? ALSO yes.This is like the ice elementals with the swirly rock bases, I like it as a general look!Yes, it uses the same SL KSM skeleton, same as the shaman class mount, but those all fit in a "tornado" theme, this (to me at least) feels new.

Calling it a recolour would be like calling the Pureblood Firehawk mount from Ragnaros a recolour of the Time-Lost Proto-Drake.Same animation skeleton =/= same model!

I hope they'll sell the BlizzCon goodies as a deliverable item for those of us who can't shell out for the tickets but still want the neat stuff. I think I've gotten one every year they've had one, and I'd hate for this year to be the exception.I guess we'll have to wait on the price of that virtual ticket until after those last ticket sales are done.....
I think that may be a pet not a mount. It has the little rock feet around it that stone elementals use to move. The elemental mounts dont have that, and have a different rig more based on an air elemental swaying from side to side.
