I’d be down for a pirate expansion, use booty bay as a capital city and do a revamp for it while we are at it.
Guys chill. Its not going to be a pirate themed expansion. Half of BFA was that and we've already got plenty of pirate themed mog, mounts, NPCs, stories etc. And they have said before that these promotion packs are not tied to expansions necessarily. This is also highly evident in this case because of the fact all these items are from BFA promotions. Ofc its still possible that I'm wrong but there's no indication from the story that its heading that way + the fact we had BFA like 3 years ago. If anything its more likely we will have something to do with titans and return of illidan from the pantheon (which will open up the possibility for other races to become DHs, similar to DKs with Bolvar).
For everyone freaking out over next expansion concerns: fairly sure this is more to do with International Talk Like a Pirate Day coming up in Sept, for which there's already an in game event. Them refurbishing holidays, we already know that's one of them since there's a datamined dragonriding appearance reward. Gotta build up that hype and what have you.
