that's great! I'd wish it could be like a couple of weeks into the release but 2 months is ok. I'm just afraid I will get all my chars too geared to give up by then. And I hope the first season won't suck (as it usually does in some games)
I think that the timeframe is really good.Enough time to play the game at launch and having some fun with builds/endgame (depending on IRL time how far u can get). And season 1 launching shortly after launch but with ample time inbetween. Also give them enough time to buff/nerf the insane builds that will most likely be rising that they never expected.
But the really Great Question is, will there be Season Tournaments like the Gauntlet in Path of Exile? I'm really excited about such feature and prices for players.
Jeez, that long? Playing for a month just to start over doesn't sound very appealing.
So my character will be useless after the first month, great! I hate seasons in RPG...
Releasing it a month and then some later is a perfect time for the first season. Just when you're starting to get bored playing the classes you can have a fresh start with new mechanics again.W
I get why they need Seasons and Cosmetics to generate profits to balance cost of production. However, I really dislike how EVERY. SIGNLE. GAME. for Blizzard (and every other developer) has regressed to this scheme. 2 Seasons a year I would have been fine with. 4 is the absolute MAX I can tolerate from one game. I wonder how long before games just die on release because people cannot afford to keep up with games in both time or finances.
