gold being hyper inflated is a huge win for blizzard. it intimidates newer players into buying tokens instead of learning one of twenty overly convoluted money making methods in order to keep up.where as on classic you mainly did your dailies or farmed a certain item to make money. systems really are designed with pushing the token.
I'm selling what used to be vendor trash grey items for thousands or even tens of thousands of gold. if you're not making money this patch, you're not trying
Even doing just SL mission tables can still bring in quick gold on alts you haven't leveled past 60 if you use the TL:DR missions add on. Just remember to pick up the get 1000 anima quest every week netting 1300g with little effort. Put equipment as top priority since most stuff you get sells for 60g+, i like to have reputation 2nd because the paragon caches still give 3000g+, then gold and anima. If you don't have a metric crap-ton of anima still stocked up from SL then put anima first priority to fund your table.
all of these are useless/boosting.matt farming.2x4 groups/.only 3 ways for making gold.the seccond one is $%^&edup because of third onefarming is almost dead in wow because blizz wont let you do solo farm
One of my small joys in life is reading the wowhead economy weekly, because it's always filled with comments of people saying...... BLIZZ MADE GOLDMAKING LIKE THIS TO FORCE PEOPLE TO BUY TOKENS! orCRAFTING IS DEADor any number of other complaints about how its impossible to make goldWell, all I do to make gold is afk craft some mats/reagents/consumables for about 30 minutes a day, and I make around 500-800k a week.....sooooooooo it can't be that hard.Did you ever consider that YOU might be the problem, and not the game?
"hastalacheesta said:Fishing is super fun now. Props to Blizzard. It just feels worthwhile because there’s a new achievement tied to a toy, fishing is a part of the tuskaar renown, and there rare fish now too. It just feels more valuable."Uh, who's gonna tell him?... I guess I will. You could get plenty of fun achvs from fishing, and tons of toys ever since at least Legion, but I suspect even before that...
"enganing with people" and we talk about setting up automated response system lol.But nothing new, just the same old "rich gets richer". You have a lot of gold (by any means, there are plenty of multiboxing, bot, etc.), spend some of it to get ahead of the rest, receive 3 times that gold and get ready for the next wave (next patch or next expansion). On top of that you have the system exploiters (knowledge/artisan rep ones) that get away with a huge leap ahead on recipes, etc. There were even Public Work Order bots...The lariat recipe is the best example of that. Really low drop rate and the few that dropped it, not being JCs, tried to sell for millions and insta sold it. Imagine who can pay 7+ million gold on a recipe and basically triple that back in a day by being one of the few crafting it, lol.Gathering and fishing is basically the same as before but somehow now "it's superfun and engaging". Meanwhile all I see is that stack of "samenameA"/"samenameB"/"samenameC"/"samenameD"/"samenameE" stacked fishing, gathering, skinning (or killing elementals). You report those multiboxers, report the clear bots (like the "cast statue"+"cast spinning kick" monk bots in the "Pressure Valves" WQ area), etc. nothing happens. You try to not care about it and do your thing. "Oh, maybe I can offer the crafting of the itens that will help level my profession for freet" so I can entice the people that don't care about high level stuff yet to craft it and give me those and you get mass reported (or receive some really bad whispers/mail) and a nice auto-ban.Blizzard tried to do a new thing with the revamp, but still failed on the same problems while creating new ones that now they need to think how to solve.Meanwhile most people just wanna do their raids, m+, etc. and have to deal with so much crap from these crafters...At least dragonriding kinda screwed the bots a little.
personally, it's nice to be able to buy crafted gear for slightly more than the vendor price. i feel like the new crafting broke a lot of people.
