How do both of these methods shorten the RP?
Does prot paladins still detect the demons during the mini-game in CoS even without the artifact weapon?
How about some explanation what is happening and why? How do those things affect RP at the end?
This dungeon is a kind of infiltration, if you perform all the mechanics that would prevent being found out, ie guards being summoned or calling out the wrong suspicious noble then you can catch a snippet of the conversation between Melandrus and Elisande where she talks at length about Thalyssra still being alive and undermining the dealings of the nightborne and legion. This snippet takes longer so in M+ you want to "fail" one of these mechanics so you get the short sweet RP dialog.
Meanwhile, we still have to waste time signaling a boat and riding in said boat. We could literally just start at the dock. But nope. Gotta have that boat RP and time sink. Such a dumb design from the beginning. Finding the spy can be made easier by add-ons and certain classes, but dang man. Why have such an annoying mechanic to deal with in a mythic plus, timed event? It’s just not necessary for keys.
For most weeks, leaving a signal beacon up (the lone one on the right is best left alone you don't want that trash), is not that punishing - except maybe on like 20+ I have not done this yet. but in 17 and below the add was a cake walk and died very fast with mediocore dps cleaving.
You are quite able to click that beacon on the right in boss room without pulling the pack. Just wait for it to roam to the back right.
ok so doing the "wrong" way, how much time does this actually cut down? considering you now made the first boss fight longer and harder. so does it really reduce time?
