Every time they add some special friendly fire mob to the game they end up nerfing it into the ground later once people start really leveraging it.
Does anything prevent you from going there at the beginning and kiting one around the zone?
Great! Can't wait for being berated by players for not using this 'clever trick' in runs up to +10 :D Yehaaaa!
Incoming fix
Took me a second to realise how useless this is, it's literally the last packs of enemies you get before the last boss after you have already cleared 90% of the dungeon, if not more and chances are on higher keys they will clear every enemy before this part, invis past them or do some death run shenanigans with a druid or a hunter or something and then come back later to clear the last percent. These tricks are quite frankly useless, people in M10 or lower are going to "Try this trick I seen" and fail and than it only becomes useful for groups doing M25+ or thereabouts, anything below this as seen time and time again can be timed without doing anything fancy.
to all the idiotic comments here freaking out about a way to do damage with a mob. please look at the posted screenshot from the article. it did 2.4% of one players dps. so, less than 1% of overall dps for that pull. this cast would maybe go off twice, at most. it is not that serious, and the only time this will ever matter is in MDI when they will most likely pull this entire area, then it will help a little bit with a few of them casting it, maybe one cast before it's all dead in an MDI setting. your weekly 10 key is not going to require you to do this, nor will a 23 because it is still damaging the player and should probably be stopped at that high of a key to avoid a one shot. I promise. please get a grip.edit: p.s things like siege of boralus cannons or plagueborers actually did MASSIVE damage, this does not. at all.
